Wanted to get something for my mother to enable her to use in the home and on the go. This was perfect for that setup. The charging station doesn't take up much space and can be plugged in anywhere. The device it self fits easily in the palm of your hand and stays charged for months. It doesn't matter if its connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or even a cell phone with them. There is no learning curve, it comes ready right out of the box, all I needed to do is charge it to full. It uses its own 4G connection to make its' emergency call and the coverage is pretty much anywhere. Even in low coverage areas, it can usually eek out enough to call emergency services. We didn't have to program it or tell it what numbers to call, its all automatic dependent on your location. It's recommend that you always tell emergency services your location, but if the user isn't able to, they can triangulate the location from the device's call location. The device has one main button and a smaller test button. The test button can be used to let the user know that the device is capable of making a call at that time if wanted, which is reassuring to have. And for testing purposes, we activated the device, it was lighting fast, they picked up within about 3 seconds. This is a truly great device! It comes with a clip and lanyard so it can be put around the neck of the user, on the belt, on the wrist, or held in the hand. Plus it fits perfectly on the nightstand next to the bed and now has become an every day carry item for my mother. Best of all, no monthly fees, no yearly fees, no fees ever, your initial purchase covers everything. If you were on the fence due to the price, let me say I have compared it to so many other services, and by far this one is well worth it. Five Stars and thank you to the company for giving me peace of mind.

Can't write a review before I have to use it. Probably can't write one after. But I'll say what I can. The included lanyard hung down a bit too far. I got one on here. 18". And of you're going to wear it around your neck, be aware it's quite thick and will definitely show under your shirt or blouse. Unfortunately, for me, only around the neck guarantees it is always there. Never comes off except shower and swimming. Activation is pressing a button and charging is simple. There are 2 settings for the battery. One that lasts 3 months and tells you when it needs charging. The other lasts 7-8 months but doesn't tell you when it's out of power. Very easy to forget to check after that length of time, so I recommend the reminder setting. This unit seems expensive but will easily pay for itself because there are no monthly payments, no fees, nothing. Would I buy this again? No. It's just too thick and too obvious under my shirt. This is top of the line but I would get something thinner and less bulky.

Will not detect cell signal

I am really impressed with this device overall. It's fantastic to have a one-time payment for this device compared to the other devices on the market that you have to pay a monthly fee to. The other devices on the market you also must be near the base station so that when you press the button you can speak to the dispatcher through the base station. With this device when you press the button on the device itself a contact 911 and connects you with a two-way call where you can talk to the dispatcher, and they can talk to you. This device works off of a cell phone network so 911 also has the ability to track you by GPS. You never have to be near a base station to use this device in an emergency. The device itself is the monitor and the two-way talking device. Able to take this device and use it any place that you are 24 hours a day. That to me is a major plus compared to the other brands on the market. The battery on the device will stay charged and standby mode for approximately six to seven months Between needing to charge it. The device itself is water resistant so, you don't have to worry if it gets a little water on it from taking a shower or bath or if it gets wet from you being outside in the rain. Overall, with all of the benefits that this device provides, and the price point I am very happy and pleased with this. I will be highly recommending this device to anyone that I know that is in the market for one.

This is truly that peace of mind for me. I got it because my godmother is 87 and although she's active,I always worry about her and since I cant be there every moment,this device can be there. It is simple to set it up and if there's ever an emergency,she can get help immediately. Her son wouldn't be able to call for help but can easily hit the button for her too which makes me feel so much better.

This is perfect for anybody in your life who you have to worry about when you leave the house for example, if you have an older parent or family member living with you and you're worried about leaving them, this is perfect to set it up and it will alert you if there's any problems.
