Very pricey but I glow
I wanted a mask with clean ingredients and it’s sad we have to pay so much not to have toxic ingredients. I’ve been researching Ogee and felt a good mud mask was worth the price. This one has been wonderful. I swear my skin glows after using it and of course I feel safer using a product that won’t damage my skin.

Luxurious and refreshing
While this facial mask feels luxurious and refreshing, I'm seeing similar results to an affordable clay mask I typically use which makes it difficult to justify the price point. It draws out impurities and minimizes the appearance of my pores, but nothing revolutionary. I guess I expected a bit more from a prestigious skincare brand. Overall, it performs similarly to other clay masks on the market, so depending on what you value will determine if this mask is right for you.

Better option worth extra cost for infrequent usage
The third Ogee product I've tried this past year. I ordered this mask alongside Ogee Gentle Glow Cleansing Cloths and Ogee Elixir Natural Retinol Bakuchiol about nine months ago, and finally had a chance to try out this mask for the first time. The only other masks I've ever tried (a few years ago) were from Sky Organics and The Yellow Bird, and both of these were powders that required mixing with water, so I'm comparing relative to these other products. I'm in agreement with the majority of reviewer sentiment here that Ogee Glacial Clay Detox Mask is good, albeit expensive relative to other options available in the marketplace. However, in my case it wouldn't be fair to compare these three products directly because the ingredients are different, with the earlier two products containing either solely bentonite clay or bentonite clay with limited additions such as dead sea clay or essential oils, and these products require manual preparation which can be pretty messy. I'm rating this Ogee product five stars because I've had a better experience with it, and the roughly 2x to 3x cost is worth the time savings for infrequent usage of less than once per month. If I were a regular user, I would likely opt for a less costly option.

Um, not at this price
So, Ogee is a terrific brand but is definitely geared to the pricey side. That being said, I expected a brand new face. Did I get that…nope. It made my skin feel nice and hydrated and clean but compared with my old stand by, Aztec clay, I think I’ll stick with it as a much more cost effective solution. This product does a fantastic job of pulling impurities and making my skin look and feel great. I’m not saying this product doesn’t do that but price is what will hold me most from repurchasing. I didn’t experience and great ‘wow’ factor. I also have sensitive skin and this didn’t make me break out and it goes on smooth. Just apply a nice even thin coat. Just my two cents.

Pricey, but good!
PRICE - Let me first comment on the price aspect.... my prior clay mask is 1/3 of the price and the container is like 2x the size of this one. Is the old one as good? Nope, it isn't. Is this new one 6x better? Of course not. But, if you want top of the line beauty products (which this is), you are typically going to pay. Up to the consumer to decide the value to them so I am not deducting stars based on price.PRODUCT - this is a small-ish tub with an included silicone type spatula. I have really grown to love applying with the spatula. It avoids dipping my fingers directly into the clay, and it really makes application easier and I feel more consistent as well. The clay mask itself is very smooth, and easily and completely rinses off with just water. My skin is naturally dry, and I felt my previous mask would dry it out more so only used it 1 to 2 a week max. This one actually leaves my skin feeling refreshed afterwards and not at all dry. I think I can use it more often. The reason I started using clay masks in the first place was to try & minimize the size appearance of my pores. I am on the fence if either product truly does this. It seems they do look smaller, and my skin feels firmer directly after using. I am just not sure how long the effect lasts. Overall, high quality product... that comes at a price!

clay mask
This was awful for me for days. I used this as directed and ended with red irritation over most of my face that lasted for several days despite trying it out on another of my body as a test. Also it caused my skin to slowly peal from my face over the course of about two weeks i had large patches of pealing skin in various places which finally seems to have stopped a few weeks later. Be careful with this stuff as it’s harsh on your face and left mine almost scaely

Leaves face feeling refreshed
This mask comes in a rather small container, so I'm not sure I would purchase again at this price point. It is a great mask though. It leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed. It comes with a spatula, so you don't have to put your fingers down into it.

Fancy!
My skin loves this mask! I haven't used a clay mask in years and love this product. It goes on so nice and my face is so moisturized after. I use before showering 2x a week and it's a really nice product and my skin looks great. Would I pay more then $50 for this product? Probably not but this is a nice Glacial Mask!
