I purchased and installed these in March 2025 and used them to mount a grab bar in drywall. They were easy to use and have held up very nicely. Considering this use is a more direct pull (not shear), they hold and show no sign of pulling out of the drywall. It may not be a recommended use, but I was in great need of assistance for a disabled person. Please proceed with caution, but for me, they have worked great. I do not know of any product that could have fulfilled that need - priceless!

I ordered heavy glass shelves to hang in a corner but, once I started drilling into one of the walls, I realized there was an air duct directly behind it. There is a little less than an inch between the drywall and the duct, which meant that any traditional anchor would be too long or unable to support the weight of the shelves. I searched everywhere for a solution, and the only one I found was to open up the wall, attach a piece of would between two stud, replace the drywall, repaint the wall, and screw into that. That wasn’t an option for me, so I hopped on Amazon to search for a miracle. These anchors looked secure and designed well, but I realized right away that the included screws would be too long. I purchased some shorted screws with the same diameter and got started. Installing the anchors was a breeze - in my case, I didn’t have enough room to pop them in easily because of the limited space behind the drywall, but the air duct had enough flex to allow me to wiggle them in. Once installed, they worked perfectly. My heavy glass shelves are secure, even with an extra pound or so of items placed on top. VERY happy with these anchors!

I have a stair rail that no anchor from Home Depot or Lowe’s would hold for more than a month, eventually deteriorating as they would not tighten up. These appeared to be the best available, so I tried them. Easy to install, though you will have a rather large drywall hole so measure and mark well as you are not going to move them over a bit if you fail to do so. Once in, they fully tighten and my stair rail is solid. Recommended.

These dudes are excellent, easy to install and utilize. The paddle drill bit needed to put a good sized hole in the drywall is included. Impressed with design and in stallation.

These things work really well to mount things taking a load--like a platform my cats keep landing on. They work better than the typical, metal (butterfly) drywall anchors. They also work away better than the self-drilling (screw-in) anchors. These are easy enough to install but when pounding in the collar, ensure it's oriented the direction you want the anchor to open. Know that they flare quite widely, so if needing two closer together, like I did, they could interfere with each other as they open. They're made of thick, sturdy plastic and open easily. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is the HUGE hole needed to install them. Thankfully, the 20mm spade but is included. I do recommend these, just know they may take a little planning.

Only warning is that this is obviously very big! So make sure if you're doing multiple or closer to an edge you have enough room for the anchor arms to extend. But holds really well, kit comes with everything, probably the strongest drywall anchor you can get on the market

I have used these a few times for one end of a towel rsck where only one end could screw into a stud. So far, they work great. They seem very sturdy and grip drywall well.

Work great, but one mistake and you have, at best, a compromised anchor or hole that has an unknown weight capacity. I was putting up backpack hooks for the kids and put one insert in folded the wrong way, which damaged the collar and bored out the hole where the cutouts are on the collar. Ended up with 5 nicely placed hooks and a 6th, dysfunctional, asymmetrically located hot mess with a 1/2” plug of drywall filler under it and another below it that I can’t not look at as I walk into or leave the house. So, if you aren’t inattentive like me, you’ll be very satisfied. My one complaint is that the instructions on the bag don’t include an idiot alert reminding you not to make dumb mistakes. *sigh*

This product works amazingly well. Super strong and secure fixiture, prevailing where others had failed and weakened the drywall. Highly recommend.
