Noticeably sharper line created. Retrieval speed is very fast. Superior to other chalk lines. Is a little bulky. Chalk and this unit are a little pricey, but worth it.

11 years as a carpenter, Tajima is by far my favorite brand of chalk box. Consistent clear, sharp lines.

I have heard guys rave about the Tajima chalk lines so I thought I would give it a try. I also got their chalk line dye. It snaps a pretty decent line, but I wasn't really blown away by it. It is a lot better than others as far as chalk ending up all over the place. I got the ultra thin line because I wanted it for finish work. I do like the thin line that it leaves, but one thing I didn't think of was how difficult it is to pick up the line to snap it! Because the line is so small, you need fingernails to pick it up off the material. I'm also not a fan of how you have to unscrew the top to load chalk. I have a co-worker that got this same chalk box and both of us have commented on how it doesn't reel in very smoothly. Overall, this chalk box snaps a decent line with very little mess, but I don't know if it is really worth the price.

Just a good, easy to use chalk line "box"

Nicest chalk box I’ve owned. Like the rewind handle and the string locking tab, very handy. Leaves a thinner line than my hardware store brand I’ve used for years. If I didn’t take good care of and intend years of use outta this tool I wouldn’t have purchased it.

Super thin dark line. Nice

Takes awhile to get chalk in the line good but once it’s worn in a little bit it’s fantastic. Gone through so many different kinds. Hope this one holds up for awhile. Also a this one in particular seems to be a great little plumb bob if needed.

Best chaulkline

I've gone through hundreds of chalk lines in my life and my type of work and I must say hands down this is the best one I've ever bought I mean I've only had it for a few months now but I usually break mine within the first 3 months this one is definitely durable I like to thin line the wind up is quick haven't had one issue with it and I use it often I mean excessively I recommend it 100%
