Just Me and My Mom (A Little Critter Book)

Happy I found this classic

My daughter started out reading these books 13 years ago and now I have a son. I can tell you that having these books on hand helped her reach her AR reading goal every month in school. She could take the test on the book in 1st grade and really get points and awards in class which boosted her self esteem. We love the art of the newer critter books a bit better than the older ones but the stories are perfect. This time around I plan on getting lots of these books for my son because early reading is so essential!

I used to read this series to my granddaughters , now she can read them to her son .

This book is darling! Great illustrations and story. I bought it for my new granddaughter. She is still an infant so I am starting a book collection for her. I gave this book and another one Just Me And My Dad to her parents and loved the smiles on their faces as they read both books. I now know what book collection I am going to buy for my beautiful granddaughter. I have seen many books from this author and this series. I plan on buying them all! The smiles alone are worth it.

It's just my sister and her son so this was a great book to read together

Okay, I lied. I don't really personally like this book. I love the Little Critter series, but this wasn't a great fit for me and my son, just because of the activities they do. It's pretty stereotypical things you would do with you mom. So, for most people, this is probably awesome. For a single mom who is fairly outdoorsy or doesn't like shopping or "girly" things in the big city, meh- maybe not what you are looking for.
