This card is full of surprises. Firstly it was a lot larger, and more substantially and better made, than I expected it to be; then it actually plays a melodious and pleasant version of 'Happy Birthday' - ! I did wonder what had happened to the fireworks effect, and needed to read the instructions in order to work out that they are triggered by blowing out the candle.All in all it is a marvellous thing and worked extremely well when I tested it out. The colours are bright and the fireworks are particularly effective. I recommend low light levels for the most impact from the lighting effects on both the cake and the fireworks - the candle flame is quite bright even in daylight.

Nice card, bit smaller compared to previous firework battery cards I've purchased, but, it's good and it works, happy birthday tune plays, the fireworks do light up after candle is blown out, i thought the card would be pink and purple as described in the options, but the card is all purple.

Bought for a close friend who's young grandson had great fun blowing out the candle, time n time again!!

I got this 3D pop-up card for my mother-in-law’s birthday, and it really made her day - her words, not mine! She loves purple, so the vibrant purple tones made it feel even more personal. The card plays a cheerful version of "Happy Birthday," and the fireworks effect only activates after you blow out the candle, which is a really nice and clever touch. The paper feel solid, the lights and pop-up worked flawlessly, and my 4 year old was super happy to blow out the candle himself just after his grandma! At £5.94, it’s more expensive than your average card, but the reaction you get is definitely bigger and better.

Love this birthday card! It played music as you opened it AND the birthday boy was able to blow out the candle that was inside the card, it’s like magic haha. Highly recommend getting this card!!
