Didn’t expect much from a bag of tiny bit holders, but these are actually brilliant. They feel tougher than they look, the magnets grab onto bits like they’re holding on for dear life, and they save you from digging through the bottom of a toolbox like a gremlin. The colours are handy too — finally a way to spot which bit holder you dropped behind something instead of buying another pack out of pure rage. Cheap, cheerful, and genuinely useful if you’re always swapping bits on jobs.

I don’t know how I coped before getting this tool to be honest. I have been fitting a loft and laying in tight corners to get beams in place, and previously all my drill bits were just lying next to me or being carted around in a makeshift container…not great when you are doing fiddly work, or have to re-manoeuvre yourself just to reach the drill bits. With this little carabiner, you can add on all the drill bits you will need in the next hour, and attach them to your belt loop or anything loop-like on your clothing, and then all your drill bits are easy to reach and can be accessed with a single hand. It took me about 5 minutes to practice attaching and releasing a drill bit before I was a pro at being able to use the attachments without even looking at them (basically what you need in DIY). They are also super cute, and very smartly designed, as they are colour coded. So you can assign a colour for each type of drill bit, and then you only need remember that red is the Philips drill bit, and blue is whatever else you want to use for your project. You get 6 colours, which is enough for working with multiple drill bits until you want to take a tea break. The bit holders themselves are very sturdy and use a push/pull release system to securely hold the drill bits while you work. I paired them with magnetic bit extenders that I found for a couple of pounds on Amazon, and they work great together. Five stars out of five!

The holders are fine, but the carabiner is not good quality at all. It's particularly cheap and nasty. I happened to have a better one lying around so i just threw the other out and used that. I like them and use them every day at work and haven't lost a hex bit yet.

These have been great since getting them, makes ladder work a lot easier than raking around in pockets or belt pouches! Wish I got them years ago.
