I wrote this review but added it to the wrong product - same product but different manufacturer/brand. This is the product I actually purchased. I bought this set not fully knowing what to expect. I was pleasently surprised. These blocks are Lego compatible which is very important to me. However, do not expect Lego-like instructions. The instruction booklet is detailed but not as detailed as Lego so there may be some trial and error. It's worth it. The point is to spend time building and building sometimes requires rebuilding. Over a few weeks, working a hour here and there, I put this together and it was so much fun! The set comes with bags numbered 1, 2 or 3. The booklet starts with 1 which means you take all of the 1 bags and that's what you use. I used a box with sections to hold my pieces and organized them by color and size. At most there was one piece missing but that may have been my fault because I dropped an opened bag. Otherwise, it was perfect. The pieces are sturdy and fit well together. The lighting kit was a nice addition. I would recommend this for anyone who likes Legos but hates their prices. You will have a fun building experience at a fraction of the cost.

Love the simple instructions. Easy build. Lots of fun. Fits name brand. Love how they all match. Only complaint is the stability of the different floors. Not put together very well but after assembling it together it holds up just fine. The lights are beautiful. Lots of details.

Pros: This cafe was a fun project for myself daughter and niece. The cafe turned out how it’s pictured on the box. The pieces fit well together. All but one part was in the box. I may’ve misplaced it. Some of the parts were stuck with others, so you must be careful. I thoroughly had fun doing this project. The instructions for certain parts were simple and well put together. Cons: My niece and I gave up. It became frustrating at some point. My daughter and I restarted. She was the GENUIS of the project. I can put together almost anything with great instructions and sometimes without, but this agitated me a little.. She analyzed those parts and counted the rows to properly place them. If it weren’t for her. I’d be pulling out my hair. There is only one book! That made it difficult. The instructions were not explained well along with the areas placing the pieces where they should go. The top floor was so difficult to put on…we had to take it apart and properly align the pieces to fit by flipping it upside down. Before that our second floor was breaking down trying to place that top on there, but the bottom and second floor fit so easily and perfectly. The flowers furniture and flooring was a bit tedious and difficult. The bags of parts should’ve been numbered by sections instead of all 1s 2s and 3s. This is where you must be careful not to lose parts. Please be careful to count your round dots on your parts so that you are not placing them in the wrong area. I think that’s where the missing parts are being a thing as a review. OVERALL: They did a phenomenal job. There’s a lot of intricate small pieces. I will be buying several of these. It’s affordable. It was challenging which made it fun. We clapped through every single piece we put together. We were able to work as a family. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I think they did a wonderful job structuring this. I RECOMMEND BUYING THIS ITS WORTH IT. I hope my review helps.

The end result is great. The set itself looks amazing and the blocks outward appearance are just like Lego. I love the modular design, giving the restaurant a look of a more complete building than most Lego sets my kids and I have built recently. The modular design also allows my kids to play with the lower floors of the building easier by removing the top and middle floors. The cost difference from major brand names is dramatic. This set from Lego would be closer to $200, being over 1400 pieces. All the pieces for this set were included. There were no missing parts, although my daughter got frustrated early on when we were trying to figure out which Bag 1 to open first.. There were around 10 Bag 1’s. In the end we decided to open all Bag 1’s into separate small trays. I would say this set is more of a building block puzzle when it comes to sorting out where each piece is and the instructions. The instructions are not on par with Lego. They are adequate to get the set built, but don’t give the direction you’re used to finding in Lego sets. If you have a younger child building this set, they will need your assistance. Once we got things sorted a bit, the set went together much easier without too much searching for each piece. I kind of liked it. It made the build take longer, and felt a little like a jigsaw puzzle. The light kit was a nice treat. The addition of lights bring this building block set to life. If my kids weren’t going to play with this set, I’d have found a better way to string the lights. But since they like to play with the sets, I left them as the limited instructions for the lights showed. I’m not too optimistic about the longevity of the light kit, but from the look of it, the battery can be replaced if it dies. All in all, we love this set and will look to buy more non-Lego building block sets in the future. The PROs: -Overall appearance and set modular design. -Great detailing throughout set. -Build quality, especially for the price point. -Price. You get a lot for much less than other major brands. -Brick quality and fit. (Fully Lego compatible) -No missing pieces. -Light kit included. Cons: -Parts separation and bag numbering. -Building instructions. Not as easy to build as other major brands. -No minifigures included. (All minifigures in pictures are from other brands and sets).

This was my first build building another brand besides Lego. I must say it surpassed my original thoughts about how it would go. Majority of the pieces were hard to snap together but I rather have that than loose-fitting pieces so that’s not a complaint. The hard snap of the pieces equal to its overall durability and strength. Every single piece was accounted for and I even had some extras by the end. The overall build is very detail oriented and has everything you could think of in a cafe/lounge such as a bookshelf, conference/dining room, lounge chairs, coffee station, fire extinguishers, point of sale service, tv and sound system, fully stocked bar, and an outdoor patio. I love the vines that were supplied and I was able to add more from leftover LEGO sets. This brand and LEGO brand are easily compatible which made it very easy and also an affordable route for the future. I will say the only two cons I had of the build are the number of bags the builder must open initially. I had to open over 13 bags labeled “1” just to build the foundation which might seem very overwhelming for someone who is not a seasoned builder. The second con is that the lights have no exact area to be placed, but just expected to be scattered through the floors once the build is complete. Besides that, I rate the overall build 9.4/10. I will be purchasing from this brand again!

This city cafe is a fun build with intricate detail. The bricks are a perfect fit with the name brand, and feel identical in quality too. I'm pleased, and will certainly check out the seller's other models, because the price is much more reasonable than the name brand's prices lately. See included photos for details. Enjbrick has several buildings that are part of their City series and I have five of them. The City Hotel is in the photos with two other buildings. Each building kit is equally charming in its details and easy to assemble. The instruction book is full color with visual guides, which make it easy to follow. These can be built by two people. I enjoy working on them in solitude. Each one takes a few hours and I'm always sad when it's complete. Instead of taking them apart again, I'm leaving them assembled and set up as a little city centre. If you love puzzles and architecture, you'll love putting together these kits. They are as detailed and quality as Lego but only a third of the price (or even less!). I think of them as 3-D puzzles and when compared to a jigsaw puzzle, they don't cost that much more but provide a great deal more engagement and fun. These are perfect for all ages, except maybe very young children. But even then, with supervision, they would enjoy helping to put it together. I'm completely charmed by each of these buildings and marvel at how the engineers create them! Also, it's a great way to exercise your brain! Love these and hope they make more in this series.

It looks gorgeous and it was a nice big challenge that I had been hoping for, but about 5 or so pieces were missing (which I was able to substitute with Lego brand pieces, though the color isn't quite right). Additionally, there are some floor and wall pieces that are not assembled in a way that makes them sturdy, so stacking the levels on top of each other is much more difficult than it should be.
