gorgeous puzzle… that’s been collecting dust for 2 years
got this for my mom for christmas because she loves puzzles and has like 12 too many genx adjacent decor pieces. figured this was the best of both worlds. like if a puzzle and home decor had a tasteful little baby.anyway, it’s been 2 years. she never touched it. not one piece. just sits in the box with the plastic seal like it’s aging in a wine cellar. i can’t speak to the build experience, size, if it’s fun, or functionality. but visually? the box is gorgeous. i’m sure it’s stunning put together, but clearly this thing was meant to be admired from inside the box.honestly tempted to build it myself out of spite. 5 stars for concept, 0 stars for follow through (on my mom’s part).

Fun 3D puzzle
It took me a few hours to put this together, and I enjoyed doing so very much. I now have a very pretty vase that I have on display on my windowsill.*This review was made in good faith based on my personal experience with the product. The seller did not request that I write this review, and I received no monetary or non-monetary compensation for this review.

Ah, the Pintoo 3D Puzzle Vase—or as I now refer to it, “The Gateway Vase to Plastic Puzzle Pandemonium.”Dearest reader, allow me to regale you with the tale of how one innocent vase led to a full-blown plastic puzzle addiction. I once scoffed at cardboard. Sneered at wood. But now? Now I scoff no more, for I have seen the light—and it glows resplendently through curved, interlocking plastic leaves of violet, amber, and periwinkle. Not only does this splendid creation offer the glorious satisfaction of puzzle assembly (without the misery of losing an edge piece to the dog), but you can actually use it as a real vase. Yes, truly! Add water, flowers, or your sister’s tears of joy when she too becomes entranced by the joy of Pintoo. And speaking of sisters—I bought her one. She was resistant. She said, “No more hobbies, I’m still recovering from the sourdough phase.” But lo and behold, two hours later, she was muttering “just one more piece” and swearing eternal loyalty to Team Plastic. In summary: cardboard is passé, wood is for furniture, and Pintoo is my new lifestyle. Five stars, darling. Possibly six if you top it with daisies.

Pretty and a little difficult
This was a challenge for me to get together but it’s very pretty. After an hour I had my husband finish it for me because I was getting a bit frustrated. It’s very possible that it’s more my problem than the project. lol.

Wonderful afternoon project!
For anyone who loves puzzles this is an extra bonus. After putting together your puzzle, you get to use it! Starting from the bottom up on bags 1-3 and putting the pieces in from behind has been very helpful. The pieces, for me, seemed to go in easier from behind rather than trying to push them into place from the front, and the last bag, bag 4, instead of putting in pieces from bottom to top, starting at the top and moving downwards as it shows in the directions was very helpful. Also not trying to pull it all together until getting a few of the pieces from the top together helped me. It was a wonderful way to spend my afternoon! Next I'll be making paper flowers to display in my puzzle vase!
