Problem with flies in summer, you need this!
I love the summer months, but hate the flies that invade my home whenever a door/window is open. Not only is their presence and noise they make annoying/irritating, but they spread germs etc.I’ve tried the tennis rackets that shock/kill the flies, your tackling one at a time as you chase the critters around.I looked for a more effective solution and found really good reviews for The Buzz Fly Catcher, and wasted no time in placing my order. It’s a very simple item, I read the instructions and to the letter having baited the traps, left them out in full sun which is important for the bait to be activated. In no time it started attracting and trapping blue bottles which it attracts as well as the odd wasp. After a few days, the entire bottle was full, and I set up the other trap which like the first was full within days. The powder in the sachet did not have a strong smell initially, but after a few days, it was very pungent, this is NOT for indoor use, and you want to set the traps away from any open windows/doors as the smell is not nice. But they attract the flies to the traps and I noticed a considerable reduction in flies entering my home, you will still get the odd fly, but they didn’t hang around for long. The traps attract all the flies in the area including breeding flies reducing the number of flies in the area, I found maggots in the traps that had hatched from the dead or dying flies. It’s not pretty, but it really works, and is the best product I’ve found. My neighbour, so impressed by my traps bought some too, and equally had brilliant results. The trap doesn’t attract bees according to other reviews I’ve read, and my traps didn’t catch a single bee which I was concerned about. So bee lovers need not worry.

Amazing product
The media could not be loaded. Suffer with flies when the doors and windows are open. These are amazing, bit grim to look at. Definitely does the job, only the odd fly in the house. Works wonders in the heat aswell. This is one after 4 days.

Amazing
Would have given 5 stars but one was broken. Put up the remaining one and within the hour the body count was on the increase. I was amazed it worked so well, I didn’t notice any smell that previous reviews mentioned.

Finally, a fine dining experience for flies—outside where they belong.
The Zero In Outdoor Fly Trap is the Michelin-starred death chamber my garden never knew it needed. Pre-baited and ready to ruin the life of every airborne pest with dreams of ruining mine. It’s non-toxic too, which is great, because I enjoy watching nature eat itself without feeling morally responsible.Setup was idiot-proof, which worked out beautifully because I had just woken up and was operating on one functioning brain cell and spite. You just hang it up, step back, and let the horror show begin. Within hours, it was like Studio 54 for flies—except with no exit, and a much sadder soundtrack. Not only does it trap bugs, it traps regret. I swear I’ve seen flies do a little mid-air U-turn once they catch wind of this murder jar. It lasts 2-3 weeks, or “one UK summer BBQ season” in pest years, and the whole neighbourhood is now 87% less irritated. If you hate flies but also enjoy passive murder in a clear plastic container, this product is your soulmate. It’s the kind of thing that makes you feel powerful—like a tiny, eco-friendly villain in a suburban back garden lair.10/10. Would bait again.

Fantastic product
Excellent product.Purchased a 4 pack and put 3 up straight away.I hung them in trees in different sections of the garden. One started to collect within the 1st hour. Placement should be considered as all three were out up at the same time. One is very full, one doing ok and the other not so many flies in it.If you have one that doesn't seem to be working for you, maybe change the hanging location.I will be purchasing the refill packs for these containers which look super easy to open and tip the contents out into a bag/general waste.

No more flies in my house now
It really does work. I was shocked. I put mine in the back garden to stop them coming in the kitchen when the door is open. Perfect

Extremely effective but has downsides
The fly catchers are extremely easy to set up and use - simply remove packaging, empty the enclosed sachet, add 300ml tap water and place outside where flies are a nuisance. I purchased mine because my neighbours have a chicken coup the other side of our fence and I have seen an influx of flies in my garden this summer. I used both fly catchers in different parts of the garden and within 3 days, both were full up to the top with dead flies. I was totally amazed at how effective they were however emptying them was a real chore. Firstly the smell as I approached them (even after only 3 days) was putrid and overpowering, the most disgusting thing I have ever smelt. I emptied the contents into a plastic food bag tied securely, then wrapped in numerous layers of newspaper, then placed into 2 carrier bags and placed in our bin. The smell was still horrific, but fortunately the waste was collected the next day. I set up the fly catchers again using another sachet in each and to my horror had hundreds of flies immediately descending on my garden. Within another 2 days, both catchers were full again, this time maggots had formed inside too, plus the outside was also swarming in flies. Since it was still 5 days before the waste was collected again, this time I placed the contents (wrapped as before) inside a sealed tupperware container which did reduce the rotting smell until the bins were collected. I have now stopped using them and the swarms of flies have reduced and I am back to the original fly level again. In summary they work amazingly well, possibly too well since they appear to attract every fly in the neighbourhood and therefore need regular emptying. I would personally not recommend as the smell is worse than vile, and the contents are a nightmare to dispose of.
