Love this!
The colors are beautiful! It’s very easy to use! Tip-Make sure you apply a super thin layer on step 1 so you won’t need to file your nails a lot once you complete the remaining steps. The bottles are super small, so I highly recommend purchasing additional bottles. But other than that it’s a great product, easy, and they look beautiful! Very affordable and look just like I went to a salon, but for a fraction of the cost!

Super easy to use and cuuuute!
I am recovering from some pretty major burns to my hands, which led to nasty infection, which led to loss of nails and several other issues. Having only nubs to work with, now that my nails are finally coming back and wanting to protect the tiny nails I do have, I decided to try this kit. The pastel colors are so pretty! Because I’ve had issues with infections over the past few months, I decided to put a piece of paper under my hand, tap some dip powder into the caps and evenly dump the powder over my nail, to avoid the possibility of contamination/spreading bacteria. It worked beautifully and I was able to recycle the unused powder into separate containers I purchased specifically for this purpose. I did use ModelOnes nail primer and dehydrator, as well. I’m not sure about longevity but I feel kind of sassy and cute with these pretty nubs! ❤️

I want to love it but...
I want to love this kit but I'm not sold... yet.... I've done my nails twice with this dip powder and have had my nails crack both times. The first time it happened on day two and I had cracks, no chips, on 3 seperate nails. I chalked it up to new user error (I've never done a dip manicure before, home or salon) I did two coats this first time. The second time it happened was the same day I did my nails. This time I chose to do three coats. It was one tiny spot on the corner of my middle finger, so nothing major. It still may be due to new user error, but the whole reason I purchased was to have a nice STRONG manicure that lasts longer than two days without cracks or chips. Gel polish doesn't even hold up for me. The top coat also has a super strong smell (made my eyes water) but honestly I'm not sure why that surprised me seeing as how this is a kit that doesn't require LED to cure. The positives are the kit is very user friendly, easy step by step instructions, comes with all the basics you need and the colors were exactly as described. All of my other nails are holding up really well and it doesn't feel overly thick on my nails. I would say it's a good place to start if you want to try a dip manicure without spending $55+ at the salon, and your aware trial and error is involved. TIP: make sure you file and buff your whole nail after the powder is applied. This is how you will get an even smooth texture. TIP: When removing the dip soak a cotton ball in pure acetone, put it ontop of your nail then wrap in a small amount of tin foil. Let it sit for about 10 minutes (may need longer) everything should slide right off.

Nice product
Update: it has been a week of gardening and cleaning and my nails are still great! They aren’t breaking or chipping and even the top coat is shiny and not peeling! Highly recommend!! I used it for the first time today. It was easy to use and went on smoothly. We shall see how long it stays on.

Not what I expected to an extent
It seems to be decent and they stick for DAYS (even through my chewing on them) so there is that ? But, the colors are never exactly as pictured for me?! I get more dull and kind of dingy looking color? Is it something I am doing? I don't THINK it is, the colors in the jars seem to be this way too, now that being said, it isn't a horrid product by any means! I guess it's worth the money (considering I paid under 20 for it) I just expected the clean, bright color pictured, now I know and understand you have to expect a little diviation from the product advertisement, that is expected. The powder is light and the top/base coats and activator are actually great quality and that is the reason for my 4 star rating, they did not clump up like others do by nail 2, now I see why I didn't get extra brushes! Don't need them! It is genuinely one of the best top /base and accelerators I've used (and I've used quite a few brands lol) been doing my own nails for ... roughly 15 years ? So I'm no newbie by any means, I know what to expect with these products and I know typically something as inexpensive as this, is inexpensive bc it lacks quality. This is not the case with Modelones products honestly. I will continue to use the products, despite the colors not being spot on, (they are still pretty decent colors, not 100% unsatisfied). Would say.... 7 out of 10, I'll keep experimenting with this brand... WAY better than a Savi-brand that I won't name 😉

Very user friendly!
This dip set is a great introduction to dip nails and very gorgeous colors! One complaint is that the pots are so small and so full so I suggest purchasing a dip container with those sliding drawers so you do not have to deal with the hassle. As well, I have thinner nails and so the dip kept cracking on me because of the flexibility of my nail after only a couple days :/ really disappointing but I do not believe it has to do with the product!

Great for health care providers; Get a medicine cup
Editted to add: this set lasted 21 days before they started cracking. Also I've noticed some poor reviews due to nail damage. Follow the removal instructions, get your self an electric nail Dremel and soaking bowls and you won't have issues - these are not meant to be popped off!! I work in healthcare and for about 15 years I've ignored my nails because either product didn't last through the 100s of handwashings or were damaging/too expensive to make it worth my while. I always wanted pretty nails though! Now that I'm in medical aesthetics, patients are paying a lot more attention to what these hands are doing. I find these powder dip nails to be a nice compromise for durability, appearance, and budget friendliness. Again, it's been a really long time since I've done My own nails so these are a bit sloppy -I'm still learning - but this set in the photos has been in place for 11 days. Minus a couple tiny chipped corners, they're going strong. The jars have PLENTY of powder but it also means you're likely to make a mess, especially with longer nails. So use a medicine cup! Makes dipping so much easier! My only complaint is that the pink in this set is super super pale and not very accurate to what is depicted here. The white and glitter pink are very pretty though. All in all, a great product at a great price! Would definitely recommend!

It's very fast and easy but...
I would love to give this a full five star review, it's easy, takes a bit of practice sure, but over all pretty simple and fast. Which is what I especially love. And with practice it looks very professional. The only problem is that the top gel coat does get hard on the brush very fast. It goes away after a few days closed in the bottle but the time in which it gets hard is very fast. I had barely done 4 fingers (and I've had practice so it didn't take me long) and the brush had already clumped. I'm probably going to buy this brand again for new colors because I did like the quality of the powder and it's amount but I might buy another brand's gel top coat if there comes a point in which the gel does not unclump on its own.
