Well, here is the video I dropped, and it's two pills for my bariatric surgery that requires me to drink my medicine after surgery. This creates a powerful vortex that raises the pills from the bottom to the top and backs down again, crushing them into powder. At first, you wouldn't think the blades would crush anything so far from the surface, but the vortex air that the edge produces pulls the pills up and down, and they are gone. I even twisted the device left to right and even laid it down with my hand to secure the top and heard nothing inside grinding. Watch the video and you will see the results. Now the question is can I run water inside the blades? Without ruining the motor or water entering the housing? If I can put water inside, then It's a win-win because I can pour hot water in the blender and the plastic top and wash it back into the tea cup, then drink all the crushed medicine and have none of it left behind—the proper dose.

I like the way that this grinder works. I use it to turn large supplements into powder. It does this effectively. HOWEVER, it overheats quickly and easily. Also, the “power” button fails easily. My husband replaced the power button for me and I ordered a second unit so I can alternate between the units (to allow cooling time between uses) when processing a bunch of my supplements at one time. I would not recommend that other shoppers buy two of these units to get the job done. Instead, I would recommend a different brand and manufacturer. The next time one of mine fails, I will throw them away and buy a better quality unit. UPDATE: The second unit has failed. The motor sparks and smells electrical. Tossing in trash, because it appears to be a fire hazard. Only used a few times before motor failed.

Does very good job good product

This has a powerful motor and pulverized the pills well; however, the design doesn’t allow the powdered form of the oils to remain in the enclosed space where the blade is. It leaks out all around the lid and makes a mess.

Within 3 seconds all pills are dust. I would advise breaking bigger pills in half (not a must) and don't use with plastic capsules.

A challenge to clean. At the bottom of the stainless bowl fixed grinder blades are awaiting your fingers. It would be nice if the blades were removable Too many surfaces to clean, some areas out of reach for the provided cleaning brush. It does the job quickly. I guessing that maybe 5-10% of the dosage is lost to dust on the many surfaces. For the price this is adequate.

This pill grinder is awesome! It allowed me to grind my mom's medication quickly and efficiently and fill the medication planner for an entire week!

It's not exactly what it says on the tin when you crush the tablets down because there is not a top cover to keep the powder in the container when you lift the lid after you have crushed your tablets then the powder goes everywhere not what i was expecting very disappointing 😑

Horrible product , motor smells like it’s burning and emits smoke from one use , lid doesn’t seal properly and half the medication flies out of machine - not worth the money
