We ordered 1/4 inch but after install and every one failed at the crimp point did we realize they were 3/16 and poorly crimped. We had to buy more crimp hardware and redo all 4 lines. We checked the package, there was no size indicated. Very disappointing.

Strong and durable cable. Worked well to hang our shade.

These look to be made out of quality materials, but the first big wind came through and these pulled apart. I put 2 on together and both pulled apart today. I will not be buying these again.

The ferrules aren't cramping cables tightly.The loop cannot withstand 100lbs pull and the loop gets loose from the ferrules very easily.Save your money and buy your own cables and ferrules and cramp them down yourself.If I could return these, I would.

I was disappointed that the crimps on the cables did not all hold even before trying to install the sunshade to the post otherwise pleased with the quality. Fortunately we could purchase the crimping sleeves and have a crimper to make the problem right. Nice if they had been securely crimped when made.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Used them to hold up a simple sun shade and 2 of the 4 cables have already broken after being up for 2 days..
