Fun for the whole family educational game
This game is a fantastic game for all ages. It is played similar to apples to apples with an educational twist. Kids are learning new vocabulary words without even knowing it. It is fast paced. Perfect for homeschool families on a budget there are three word categories elementary, middle school and high school with SAT words.

Good family fun.
My 9yo daughter has really been enjoying this game at dinner. We have played it 2x's now at her request. She is really getting the hang of learning the new words and using them in conversation.

Fantastic family fun, and educational!
Our family loves this game. We love the open-ended play and our kids (and us!) are already learning new words. We are also learning really funny things about them! Really gets everyone talking. The rules are simple and easy to follow and since the words have three different levels, all ages can play together. Gameplay is simple, choose a topic from the cute restaurant-themed menu cards and use your words in conversation. There are no winners or losers in this game. Just use as many or all of the word cards in conversation and have fun learning something new along the way. This game is now in our vacation game rotation!

Makes learning new vocabulary fun and memorable!
I bought this game for our family after my daughter saw it at a homeschool convention and asked me to get it. Both of my kids were hooked after one time of playing and now ask to play it regularly. It’s still a bit over the head of my just turned-7-year-old, but that doesn’t keep him from wanting to play, and I like that it’s something that he can “grow into”. My 10-year old does beautifully with it though, so I would agree with the “Ages 8+” recommendation on the box. It’s a fun (and often funny) way to introduce new vocabulary and get your kids to use it. I appreciate the 3-tiered leveling of the cards, because it allows players of different ages and ability levels to play together. I enjoy playing it as an adult and find it challenging too, and I think that it would be a fun “ice breaker” for a teen group (or even at a dinner party with other game-loving adults) as a way to get the conversation started and keep it going!Down the road I would love to see the game’s creator make some additional “menu” (question) cards and “appetizer/entree/dessert” (vocabulary) cards that could be purchased separately as an optional add in, because if you play the game often enough the words will get repeated. But on the other hand, that’s not a bad thing, since the more often you hear the words and use them, the more your vocabulary will grow, and the more likely the words will make their way into your daily conversation!

Great game to increase vocabulary
We bought this game at a homeschool convention and have played it a few times now. I like that it’s not competitive. It’s more about family time, conversation, and learning. There are different levels for various ages and abilities. We play it during dinner time and everyone participates; adults down to 6 year olds. Such a creative way to learn! I have recommended it to a few friends already.

Looking forward to using this in my Language Arts classroom!
I am an 8th grade Language Arts teacher, and former home schooler. I am always looking for great standards-related games to have in my classroom. I found this one and have tried it out with friends. With various levels of difficulty, both in the vocabulary lists and in the tasks, it is easy for students to self-differentiate. It encourages higher level thinking, listening and speaking skills, collaboration, and even some social-emotional learning. It will be great for extension activities, early finishers, and the occasional post-test game day. Listening in on student conversations gives the teacher an organic method for formative assessment. I'm really looking forward to using this in my classroom.
