Great for Learning
I love this thing and think I will love it even more as my youngest grows. My older kids could use this easily independently. My two year old still needs me to do it and wants to play with the cards. There are so many cards I ended up buying card protectors and putting them into those and then into a binder so we can also just look at them. Great value for the price and the animal ones make sounds. His speech is picking up tremendously because of it.

Speech Success without the Splurge
This tool is a total game changer for kids working on their speech skills or trying to hit those word count goals. It's like early intervention magic! I’ve been using them with no issues—everything is perfectly in place, and there are so many cards to choose from, I haven’t even scratched the surface yet. Plus, if you shop around, you’ll find plenty of similar versions at different price points. My friend splurged on a pricier set, and after comparing, we agreed—this one does the job just as well. Why pay more? It’s fun for kids and it’s great for learning. I used it with a 2.5 year old.

Good vocals, flimsy cards
Got this pack as it seemed to have the most variety of cards.Came with enough battery to try it out.Sound quality was good and the accent on the few words I tried was neutral which is great. It was a female voice and I do not know if there is a way to make a male voice if one wanted to. A good suggestion to the manufacturers. The downside is the cards. They are VERY thin and flimsy. I do not think they would tear easily, but they bend very easily. So a young toddler could easily bend the cards badly while trying to insert them in the thin slot. So this would not be a solo activity to "keep them busy" as it would not end well for the cards. Bad photo advertising on the part of the seller.A very young 1+ year old would need to either be supervised or have the cards placed for her - frustrating to say the least for the child. A slightly older child around 3-4 might be able to place by themselves, but would probably already have much of the vocabulary making this redundant, unless they had a learning issue, then it would be great, but again, must be supervised so as to not fold the cards.I have not folded a card on purpose to see if it would work anyway, once my granddaughter starts using it, I might update this to say how the card played after child bending it... I am sure there will be an opportunity.Great tool, and good voice so far... just be aware of the need for supervision. I will try to take the time to upload a video when I get a chance

A bit small but a good purchase
A good purchase. I would buy again because tho small the game worked well and held a charge well. Came with charger cable. Wish it was a bit louder. Used it for English classes for adults and their children. Need to slam the card down into the slot just alittle until you can hear the card strike the bottom of the slot. Then the device would speak. Wish the volume was alittle louder.

Educational, fun, not 100% accurate
The media could not be loaded. My toddler loves this product! The sounds and pictures are clear and good. 3 stars because we have come across several (not just one or two) cards that are straight up incorrect. For example, the "tuba" card has a trumpet pictured and doesn't sound like a tuba. There's a squid pictured for "octopus", a seal noise for the "penguin" card, etc. My favorite mistake is this huge roar from a shark. Sharks don't make noise! Quite funny to me, but if you want cards that are 100% accurate, do not buy.
