This is a great back for weekend city trips when wheeled luggage doesn’t cut it. It is HUGE. I was able to fit a lot. Tall leather boots, a pair of jeans, 1 bulky sweater, a pair of leggings, a few t shirts and all undergarments and toiletries for a 3 day trip. I did use packing cubes including the ones the bag came with plus a few more. Plenty of side pockets for chargers, a book and snacks. The zippers work great and feel of good quality as well as the fabric. I absolutely LOVE the color although it did get a bit dirty on just this one trip. (I will be washing it in a comercial washer and update the review on how that worked out.) We were worried it wouldn’t fit in the overhead as a carry on luggage after filling it to capacity on our way home with extra stuff we bought since we were on a fairly small airplane but it fit just fine. I highly recommend this bag if you are healthy enough to walk with the weight of it on your back; it was very heavy after filling to capacity. For reference my clothes are all size med/large, jeans 10, boots 8. I stand at 5’ tall and weigh 165 lbs.

This is a favorite. It has lots of compartments and plenty of room. You can get to your items easily. It works well with packing cubes. I can easily pull out my laptop. Get another color. White got dirty to fast.

I absolutely love, LoVe, LOVE this bag! Taken in on many flights and it counts as a ‘personal item’! It’s basically a free carry on!! It has more space than any of the others I tried. Incredibly durable and still new looking after being STUFFED to the max, carried and tossed around. The included storage bags are the best! I use them even when not traveling! I’ll add that I was concerned about the color being light and showing any speck or spill. To my delight, it magically seems to repel most everything and a damp cloth takes care of the rest. Highly recommend!!

Huge I'm going to be ordering one for my husband and daughter

I bought this backpack for a 4 day trip to NYC where we would be getting in early and wanted time to spend in the city before checking into our hotel at 3pm. It's truly 52L, noticeably bigger than the 40L Matein travel backpack I bought my husband. The material is nice and soft, the straps and back has padding to help cushion any weight and there's a chest strap that came in handy to distribute the weight. I was able to comfortably pack for the trip, bring toiletries, a spare pair of flats, and bring back souvenirs without even expanding the back. It does have loops on the zippers to lock your bag if you need to and the many pockets were a nice feature! It held up really well for a full day of traveling in airports and around the city. The top of the backpack has two handles with a snap button to hold them together whicb actually broke before I even got to the airport so it was annoying that those handles were in the way when walking if I didn't move them. Otherwise it was a great buy and nothing else has broken or frayed. I searched and researched reviews for all kinds of travel backpacks but didn't want to spend $100+. As for being a personal item, likely way too big for some airlines just in the height alone. It is about the size of a carryon luggage and although I put it under the seat in front of me, I didn't have that much feet space (I flew southwest). I'm 5'5" and this did feel like a big backpack but I didn't have any issues carrying it all day when it weighed ~15-20lbs. I do wish there were other colors as the beige/cream is pretty but I can see it getting dirty pretty easily. Other reviews are right in that the sides are soft but once you fill it, it's not an issue to be concerned about. I've always been an overpacker so this made me nervous buy it was well worth it!

Storage capacity: Awesome travel pack especially for the$$. Looks professional, well made and keeps everything organizes well. Was able to pack much more than I expected.

Stains SO much I messaged the seller to see what I can do and got no response back after I asked now I have suggested this backpack to so many people and everyone stops me and asks about it but going through security or traveling with it has it looking like I have had it forever. I love the bag though it has been EVERYWHERE with me and it can pack two weeks of stuff in there for sure.

I love this bag!!!! Its a sharp looking bag. So many pockets and hold a ton of things. Very durable. Loves that it come with mesh bags too. I would recommend!
