I love softbums. I don't know why they're relatively rare/less used. The adjustable legs have been fantastic for our long and lean little guy and these are the only diapers that have them. The velcro is fantastic - seems new after 4+ months of heavy use and the amount of snaps on other diaper covers like BestBottoms, Flips, and Thirsties, just gave us a headache.I bought some softbums used and definitely like the new versions of the inserts better (the super pods now have adjustable snaps so they stay in place better). I have 13 shells and 18 inserts and do laundry every other to every 3rd day depending on whether daycare is good about reusing the shells. I do wish the shells could be wiped out when they get poopy, but most shells need to be replaced when they get poopy whether it's because of lining or gusset trim.We started using these when our baby grew out of the bumgenius newborn size at 2mo, which we got used and appreciated when he was tiny for ease of use. Once we adjusted to the quantity of laundry and he was a bit bigger, we started using softbums and love them. We use the pockets (omni) for nighttime because we can both stuff and use a superpod for great absorbancy. We have NEVER had a leak, which is pretty amazing. Daycare has had a couple when they were learning how to use them (they didn't realize the velcro tabs could overlap and it was too loose).Oh and the color is nice, I tend to wish there were more colors :).

I've tried several other cloth diaper brands/types and these are truly THE BEST!! They had the best fit on our 4-week old newborn son and we have had hardly any leaks during the 4 weeks we've been using them (leaks were due to his being a heavy-wetter and my needing to adjust the leg elastics as he was growing)! After having such great success with these diapers, we invested in many more (these diapers are our go-to diapers and the bulk of our stash - we own 10 covers and 30 inserts). We are usually able to use a cover 2 - 3 times, unless our newborn has a terrible BF poo blowout! As for this particular diaper, the color is beautiful! Good to note that these diapers can be washed in a regular washer and dried in the dryer (on low heat). Keep in mind that this particular diaper does not come with inserts (called "Pods") - you need to order them separately. And I would recommend ordering the larger sized inserts - the smaller ones only lasted until our son was 6 weeks old (keep in mind he is a heavy wetter).
