I really like it. Very easy to pair with my phone and works perfectly with the GoveeLife humidifier.

The device configured fine with the app though it's very slow to update. It actually seems much quicker just using Google Home. The temperature reading seemed fine initially but quickly (within a couple hours) fell to at least 7° F below the actual temperature (via a trusted infrared thermometer). This is beyond the range that can be corrected via calibration (5.4° F). I am in the process of contacting support for a replacement and will update if that experience is successful. Update: Support did provide a replacement after a reasonable amount of information requested. The replacement initially seemed to be way off as well (replacement: 75.6° F, original: 60.8° F, infrared thermometer: 68.3° F). However, after letting it settle/adjust (not sure why this was necessary), the new sensor appears to be accurate. The old seems to still sometimes be a few degrees low at least. Given this, updating my rating from a 1 to a 4.

This is a nifty little device that I’m using in my humidor. Very definitive information and charting of activity in my box. Using this device in conjunction with several other humidors as the humidor is large. Reason for the purchase was really to monitor my humidor from afar which it does fantastically. Highly recommend. Anxious to see how long the AAA batteries last.

This works great to monitor the humidity in our humidor. Readings are accurate and I love the notifications, no more guesswork to see if our cigars are at risk of drying out. Highly recommended!

I bought three of these to be able to easily check the temperature in different rooms via Alexa. I set the first one up in the Alexa app - which is a confusing process because there are two different Govee 'skills' to choose from, one seemingly for their thermometers and the other for the lights. First using the skill for the thermometers, Alexa couldn't find the device. Next using the skill for the lights, it discovered the device, but it would only show the humidity and the voice commands didn't work. I contacted Govee support and they confirmed this is expected. I suspect most people buy these to monitor temperature, but what good is an Alexa-compatible thermometer that doesn't work with temperature? I did keep one device, where monitoring the humidity is more important (for keeping musical instruments humidified) and returned the other two, though I'm now using the native app with it.
