The developer of Bluelene skin care products is Kan Cao, a prominent researcher known for her work on Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome (HGPS), a rare genetic condition that causes premature aging in children, leading to early death. Cao's lab discovered that methylene blue, a common dye, possesses incredible anti-aging properties for human skin. This discovery led to the development of Bluelene, a skincare line based on this "magic molecule." As a result of her research work, she started Mblue Labs, a company that commercializes her research on methylene blue, which all her skin care products include. They are the best skin care products I have ever used. I use and recommend the entire skin care line for face and body, including this daily moisturizing cream. The results include noticeably firmer, softer, and less wrinkled skin, because methylene blue increases the production of collagen. I could notice these changes within two weeks of starting use of these products. Surprisingly, the products are no more, and often less, expensive than other skin care products I've used, including Strivectin, Fiera, and Il Makiage products.

Great moisturizer for sensitive skin! I am older and have read about the benefits of methyl blue so was anxious to try this moisturizer since methylene blue makes it go deep into the skin. It feels light and airy. It has a squirt dispenser type top and it does not bother my sensitive skin but keeps the dryness away. I love it!

This Bluelene Anti Aging Daily Moisturizer is pretty hydrating. Takes a bit to absorb, but once it does, it really feels nice on my skin. Not greasy at all. Not lightweight but not thick, more of a “medium” weight, if that’s a thing? Haha I’ve never used a skincare product with these ingredients in it. So was super curious about it. “ Bluelene's patented formulation includes a superior antioxidant, methylene blue, which outperforms other antioxidants used in skincare. Bluelene is scientifically proven to boost up your own skin's production of collagen and elastin, two vital proteins for younger-looking skin.” They say it’s supposed to help: smooth wrinkles; even and brighten skin tone; hydrate the skin; improve elasticity; reduce under eye puffiness and dark circles; and lift and firm. I have been using consistently for almost 1 month and have not seen any noticeable changes in my skin, other than it being extra hydrated. Even after using for almost 1 month, it looks like I’ve barely touched it. A little goes a long way and this bottle will last me a long time. I would say the price is pretty steep (normally 52 on sale for 39 at time of review). But because it really will last me a long time, the price may be on point. AS LONG as I do end up seeing results with continued use. I would say wait for it to go on sale (like it is while I’m writing this review). I also will come back to update my review once I finish the bottle with my final results. I know a lot of skincare products take longer than 1 month to really see noticeable changes in your skin.

After several weeks if using it at least once a day, nothing has happened at all. You might have to use it much longer to notice any difference but then you need to buy more bottles. I would not recommend buying it.

This is one of those moisture creams that I really like using on my drier days. Having mature combination skin, there are days that I dedicate to cleaning up oil slicks, while other days I need to give myself a good moisturization treatment. For me, this is best to use somewhere between a normal, middle of the road, to a dry day when I need a decent dose of moisturization. It's clean and easy to use. Lightweight enough that it doesn't leave me with oily or greasy residuals along the surface of the skin, but it will make it the slightest bit dewy. Not messy, but definitely well moisturized. It's a white cream that squirts out of the canister. Goes on easily and absorbs well. There was no scent that I could detect and it does not irritate my skin in any way. Probably safe and good for many with sensitive skin. Makes my skin more supple and elastic and helps to diminish fine lines. Also makes the skin feel soft and smooth to the touch. Probably best for those with normal to dry skin. Especially good for those with mature skin.

The Bluelene Anti-Aging Daily Moisturizer moisturizes my face without leaving my skin feeling greasy. I have sensitive skin but haven’t experienced any adverse reactions while using this. It has a nice light fragrance that doesn’t affect my allergies. I feel that I don’t have to use very much to achieve good coverage on my face, so the bottle should last quite a while as it stays on my skin all day. I have dry skin but have noticed improvement in the dryness since using this. I haven’t used this long enough to notice any anti-aging effects, but keeping the skin hydrated will help to battle this. I really love that this is a woman-owned business, founded by a doctor, and the products are made in the USA. I recommend the Bluelene Daily Moisturizer!

My family and I have been using Bluelene for about 3 years. It is consistently excellent, cures dry skin, narrows pores and helps With rosecea. We will continue using this series of products and the moisturizer.

After my shower, I just put a tiny amount on my hands and rubbed it into my face and neck avoiding my eye area. I noticed this is almost scentless. I believe the aroma is from the un-fragranced ingredients itself. The cream is lightweight and of medium thickness. I thought this was originally more like a summer lotion but because it takes a while to absorb and leaves my face feeling moist with a hydration barrier, I now consider this more of a winter cream. I personally prefer when lotions leave my face silky but hydrated. The current price of $52 is super pricey for this especially since this is only 1.7 fluid ounces.
