Great product
I tried it on my face first. It has large sugar crystals that weren't too abrasive. My skin is sensitive and it exfoliated very well leaving it smooth and moisturized. My face was a little pink right after but that happens with any product I use. I also use this on my elbows and they have been much smoother and not rough. I don't need to use this often, maybe once or twice a week to keep my skin smooth. I'd highly recommend giving it a try.

I didn’t love the scent, but the performance has made up for it.
I was disappointed in the smell of this at first— it just doesn’t smell that strongly, and I’d expected a sweet honey scent. So I wasn’t enthused. It’s the coarsest grained exfoliant I’ve used in a long time. Remember the St Ives apricot scrub? It reminds me a little of that, except the scratchy pieces aren’t as sharp. But wow does it work. I’ve been using this 2-3x/week and my skin hasn’t felt this smooth in ages. When you rinse it off, it still feels like it’s coating your skin with something moisturizing. I use serum/moisturizer stuff afterwards, mostly out of habit, but I’m not even sure my other stuff is doing anything because it feels like this leaves a barrier behind. I’m pleased with it. If you want your skin to feel younger, this is the stuff to use.

Skin Soft
Very Course gritty texture. I recommend not rubbing/scrubbing too hard especially on face if sensitive to texture. The sugar does seem to dissolve as not as gritty as massaging into skin. Definitely make sure skin is wet because may be very harsh abrasive to skin if not. Honey and brown sugar scent. Skin is soft and smooth. Ingredients and directions in English are under label which was difficult to get off. 12 month shelf life after opening. Not something I would use on face daily may be too harsh. Could be used all body. Similar in price and quality/quantity as other brands.

Gonna pass on this one
Neogen products are a very high quality K beauty brand that I am a big fan of, but I'm going to take a pass on this Royal Honey & Sugar polish. It has a light scent that isn't over done or offensive and I'm not sure how to describe it. The sugar grains in this product are really too large and abrasive and regardless of how light and gentle I was with it I could feel the product was not refined anywhere near enough to not risk micro tears on the skin.I found it to be harsh and somewhat irritating on my skin and I won't be adding this one to my collection. This is only my opinion and experience and skincare is a personal choice for everyone so what is great for one person may not be great for another

Pleasantly Surprised
First Impressions:Neogen's site says that this should be used with fully dry hands and face, so I oil cleansed then dried my face and hands. This smells like delicately sweet Asian jelly and it's very cute. I put a tiny bit (pinky-tip size) using the plastic applicator that came with the jar. The sugar crystals are surprisingly big and abrasive (in a good way). I felt a *little* masochistic while rubbing the scrub all over my face for a minute or two. It was actually quite a pleasant experience (the physical exfoliation felt refreshing). When I rinsed my face, I was like, whoa- my skin felt soft, smooth, and slippery. Yes, my cheeks were a little light pink, but I was actually going pretty hard on my face with the scrub; I hadn't exfoliated in a while. I put on my regular moisturizer, and when I checked my skin later, well... there wasn't much difference. It's a little smoother than before. I'll update this review after I've used it for a longer period of time. I do believe that this is a worthwhile skincare product to continue testing. It's enjoyable to use and combines physical and chemical exfoliation, which makes perfect sense when I think about it.3 DAYS LATER:My skin is the happiest I've ever seen it. I didn't mention in my earlier review that after my first use of this scrub, I couldn't stop staring at my skin. Glass skin, real glass skin. After rinsing off the scrub a second time, the words that ran through my mind were "youthful," "happy," and "healthy." I've never had a skincare product have such a dramatic effect on my skin, even after not using it for a few days. I've never bought anything that wasn't backed by a lot of research, so for skincare treatment products, I've only bought things like azelaic acid serums, retinol creams, glycolic acid toners, etc. A honey sugar scrub. I expected nothing to come of it, and at worst, breakouts. What ended up happening was that it's probably the best skincare treatment product I've used on my face... And I know it has more than just honey and sugar, but ... my skin looks younger!! Korean skincare products, I love you... you are amazing.

Too abrasive for face
While this face scrub smells really good, it’s warm and sweet, its far too abrasive for the facial area. The sugar crystals are much bigger than they should be for a face scrub and they feel rough and drying, not exfoliating and smoothing. My skin was very red and irritated after using it, and I didn’t notice any upside to it. So while the scent it pleasing, I wouldn’t recommend it for the face area, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Love it
I’m happy with this having a very sweet scent, but not overpowering. It is one of the best exfoliation products I’ve ever used. I just have to be really careful that I have to be light handed and be gentle trying to exfoliate my face. It also has a very nice exfoliating gritty texture. My face and body feeling very soft for days. One thing I do recommend is not to do this every day, and I definitely recommend this whole heartedly. Will definitely try this again!
