Harbor Bay by DXL Big and Tall Waffle-Knit Kimono Robe

This is a good product, so long as you know what you are getting. It's what I was looking for -- a robe that I could put on easily and in a hurry, if necessary, and that I could wear if I was lounging around the house. If you are looking for something that will keep you warm in the winter with the heat off, this isn't it. The last robe that I owned was so thick that it was too hot to wear unless the house was cold. Likewise, this isn't one of the heavy terry cloth robes that you'd wear out to the pool or getting out of the bath.One reviewer complained that this wasn't as thick as a T-shirt. I'd say that it's about as thick as a "beefy" T-shit, but the fabric is much different. It doesn't cling to your body. It's pretty much ideal for me on mornings (or later) when I get up and don't feel like getting dressed until I've had my coffee or tea, read my email, and posted an Amazon review.

Very comfortable and big enough for me, about 300 lbs..... I know need to lose some lb's.

I purposefully ordered big for a relaxed fit. The waffle weave looks nice and the robe is light yet does not feel cheap which is just what I wanted. That makes it easy to stuff in a suitcase and take when traveling for trips to a hotel pool or opening the door when not dressed to have room service delivered.The loose fit means I can tie it shut with no surprises of anything popping out unexpectedly which happened with my last robe. I did not want to pay this much (forty-eight dollars) but the shipping was free and there are a lot of robes that cost more.If this robe lasts a long time and washes well (as at least one other review here stated it does) then I should be a happy camper for quite a while.

This is a wonderfully comfortable robe. My husband and I bought these because you can't always count on spas, hotels, or massage places to have robes that fit adequately. Now we have something nice to wear from hotel rooms to the pool or to wear around at a spa day, etc. that doesn't look like a ratty old bathrobe you would only wear at home when no one could see you. This robe is also completely perfect for an around the house robe. I'm thinking of buying my husband the same robe in dark navy so that he can wear it around the house without destroying the white one too quickly.

Fit is good, my husband loves it, but the stitching in one of the pockets is loose, so there is a hole. I think we will try and sew it ourselves, but this shouldn't happen with a new product.

I LIKE IT VERY WELL. IT IS LIGHT, WHICH IS GREAT FOR LOS ANGELES, AND FITS REAL WELL. I TAKE A 5XL-6XL, AND IT IS THE ONLY ROBE THAT HAD THAT SIZE.

I've only worn the robe for 2 days, but the fit was initially perfect, the soft & light feeling was immediately comfortable and the weight of the entire robe was surprisingly light - perfect for warm weather use. The Kimono style and generous cut of DXL's robe style provides ample wrap around for waist and legs without getting in the way when seated or reclining. If the fabric wears well and resists stains to last over time, I will regard this as a terrific buy ... to be repeated !!!

Nice robe, keeps it cool and breezy just how us big guys like it.
