Simply brilliant!
Bought this to replace my 5yr old Bodum Bistro, that made over 7000 cups of coffee before the grind button stopped working. This machine is a revelation. It grinds effortlessly, more so than the Bodum did. Even though it has a 3 pin plug, it couldn't possibly be earthed, the cable is only thick enough for two inners. But static isn't a problem. Here's a tip if you are having issues, kitchen sinks are usually earthed, just tap on it to earth yourself before making your coffee. I wear Crocs inside the house, they are a devil for building up static electricity. The bellows supplied really do work! I leave it on top of the bean hopper permanently, with the cap on top. Just pump twice after every grind, all the coffee is now deposited. I leave mine plugged in permanently. It then remembers its setting. When not used the screen goes into standby, leaving just the led lit on the grind button. The 2cup setting works for me with the amount I need for one mug of coffee. This machine is terrific and I highly recommend it! No idea how long it will last however, but at this pricepoint, its worth taking a chance on it!

Best priced coffee grinder on Amazon
This coffee grinder is brilliant. This is my 3rd coffee grinder that I’ve ever had and by far the best! It grinds so fine, the flavour tastes delicious and I have a lovely crème on my coffee every time. It’s so easy to use and I’d recommend this over any others that I’ve ever used. I recommend those needing a great grinder to look no farther than this one. It ticks all the boxes, feels very solid and very sturdy. The portafiller cradle has 2 attachments to hold either 51-53mm or a 58mm portafiller, or you can fill up the canister or paper for drip coffee pots. It’s brilliant the coffee has real flavour!

Instructions are for the weak.
A few weeks later with daily use and this grinder has worked a treat. Customer service reached out to me and explained a couple of things and made a very generous offer, which I greatly appreciate, so I'm updating my review accordingly. The issue with the power button comes into play only when you're 1) forgetful and 2) trying to figure out the exact timing of the grind. For my basket (which is supposed to be two cups), 4.8 seconds is the perfect amount. While trying to figure this out, I kept pressing the power button thinking it would turn the machine off, when in fact it continues the grind. So take note, the power button continues the grind and then also stops it mid grind. It doesn't actually turn the machine off. It's a compact grinder, there are only so many buttons they can fit on there, but when you can push in the portafilter to start the grind, I don't necessarily see the point in having the power button do that as well. I don't know, it's a big enough niggle that I can't give it a full five stars, but I would've rated it 4.5 if I could. It was also clarified to me that if the grind is any finer, it risks clogging the machine, which makes sense. As it is, the grind is fine enough to fit my purpose. Thanks again to the customer service team! Original review: I've only had this a day and used it twice, so only time will tell how long this will last, but here are my initial thoughts: -Set up is easy enough. Instructions are for the weak. Most of it was intuitive anyway. -It grinds fast -It isn't as noisy as my old grinder. Quiet in comparison, even. Why only three stars (so far)? Because I have never known a power button to not turn off/on a machine. On this machine, it causes the grind to continue. This is absolutely baffling to me, especially if you didn't complete the full grinding cycle and accidentally press the power button wanting to turn it off. Whoever designed this is a special kind of insane. Hats off to you sir/madam. And, the grind itself. I would have thought that putting it on the finest setting for espresso, you'd get a consistency like mica powder. But you don't. It's coarser than what my very cheap grinder managed, and that leaves me wondering just how coarse the coarsest setting is. Whole beans? That said, unless it's my imagination trying to compensate for the money I spent on this bean grinder, I do taste a difference in my coffee. It's better and stronger.

So far, I thoroughly recommend this Coffee Grinder.
I have used this maybe 7-8 times a day for the last few weeks and found it to be Flawless. I love how fine it can grind for my espressos. It's great that I can fit the adapter in place and put my portafilter straight in the front to fill the Basket. It has a timer, so when I worked out how much coffee I needed in the Portafilter Basket, I can slot it in and it will touch a button at the back and automatically start the coffee filling the Basket. If I leave it in place, I can push it in again and it will add more coffee if needed. Then push it again to stop it. Also, when you have set the timer for the amount of coffee delivery you want, that button at the back will fill the Filter basket to that amount and stop. I like this option, but the button on the front maybe simpler to use sometimes for some people. (at least to begin with). I haven't yet worked out what the Rubber Donut on the top does (with the lid on top).? If anyone here knows, please can you tell me? Thanks....... If this machine does the mileage like my more expensive grinder at home, which I've used regularly for about 8 Years (this one is at my GF's place), I'll be extremely happy indeed. So far, I thoroughly recommend this Coffee Grinder. I've only had it since the 16th August 2025 and used it maybe 7-8 times a day for Cappuccinos :)

Ordered with great anticipation. Dashed very quickly. The first thing was the plug, European not Aussie and no conversion adapter; not a show stopper. It is made of a weak plastic construction and the hopper switch is extremely poor. Loads of mess and inconsistency in the few grinds I did. Returned :(
