The item is very durable for short term storage of our flatware. After the second week, we noticed one of the stored pieces had started the tarnishing process. This is likely unrelated to these bags and caused by other factors like temperature and humidity in the storage space. The drawstring is ok but a zipper is better for our needs.

I got these for my silver flatware and they work incredibly well at keeping everything tarnish free & ready to use in the sideboard.

Silver should be stored properly. The bags are cheaper than buying and making something.

I have never written a review before, but I am very disappointed in these bags. The listing clearly shows a picture of what appears to be a platter and other large items and we were expecting much larger bags to hold such platter and large items. Bad ar we for not seeing the listing details revealing the dimensions of the bags. Remove the misleading pictures.

The bags "look" really nice and seem to be made very well, BUT there is an awful odor that comes with the bags. It might be a result of the stuff that is supposed to keep silver from tarnishing but there is no way I can store anything in them and then put them in my cupboard. I will leave them out to air for awhile and see if they become useable.
