Controls the stink great but not the sweat.
So my experience with this product has been great. I workout 4 days a week and saw one of the people I follow on YT fitness talking about this deodorant. She said she felt like when she wasn’t wearing deodorant she still didn’t smell after using this. I have now been using this about 2 weeks and I agree with her. My underarm sweat does not smell like BO but instead like mint. I thought maybe I just couldn’t smell myself, so today I did a heavy leg day at the gym...lots of sweat. I got home and asked the hubs to put his nose in my pit and take a whiff ... he said, “It smells like mint-no BO.” That being said, I do experience a lot of anxiety sweating when stressed out. It absolutely does not stop the sweat. I sweat a lot more when wearing this, but stink less. It’s pricey but I think I will keep using it ... somehow it feels like a healthier choice for my body and it does effectively control underarm body odor at least for me.

The only aluminum-free deodorant that works for me
A little background...I had tried out so many natural, aluminum-free deodorants before trying this one. None of them worked, and most of them made me smell worse (and possibly sweat more) than I ever had without deodorant! I had almost given up on using deodorant until a friend recommended this one!Using this deodorant..I have used it for about 6 weeks now, and experience no irritation with the baking soda. The scent is light, but nice. This one actually smells a lot like lavendar to me. I apply once in the morning, and it keeps me feeling drier (not totally dry, as it is not an antiperspirant, but it does seem to help!) and smelling fresh ALL DAY, even after a workout. I don't notice the scent hanging around too long after applying; it seems to go away after 30 mins or so, but the important thing is I don't have any BO using this deodorant!! I'm so glad to have found this one and can't wait to try out the other scents. Thank you SmartyPits for a great product!

Didn't like it
It didn't feel smooth going on and I stopped using it. I can't explain exactly what I didn't like, but it felt more sticky than other products.

Red lumps
Was difficult to use, sticky like a glue stick at first, worked well once applied until I ended up with 5 large red painful lumps under one armpit. Unfortunately this deodorant didn’t work for me.
