Review: KILLER DRILL - I bought the Hilti SFC 18a from the Home Depot about a year ago and I am very impressed. This drill does just about everything I could ever hope it would. The batteries last me weeks without charging and the state of charge indicator on the back of the batteries let me know how much juice i have left. I remember right after i bought this drill, i brought it to help my buddy install a server box. He was putting in lag bolts through studs and his full sized dewalt just didnt have the torque needed. My Hilti on the other hand, drove those lags in with ease. A month later, my buddy got a hilti and is hooked. I also really like the peace of mind knowing that this tool and it's batteries are fully covered under the warranty. Even if i drop it from a roof and it cracks, i can simply take it to my home depot Hilti rep and he will fix it or replace it for free. Sure it's more money up front, but in the long run, this drill was a smart investment.
