Helps with mess!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought these for my grandkids to use with the kinetic sand. Helps keep the Mess in one area.

Just ok
They contain the sand. They do have a weird lip where sand gets trapped and they don't hold air well.

Perfect for Sensory Sand!
Whoever thought of these was an absolute genius. These are perfect for the sensory sand that we bought with it. They are small and inflatable. Blowing them up took less than 30 seconds and they held air great. Ultimately they are just little inflatable trays, but the design does a great job of keeping the sensory sand in. Because the sand tends to stick together and slide, when the kids tipped it over a big bulk of the sand actually stayed in the tray because the inflatable portion trapped the sand under it, greatly reducing the mess. It won’t prevent a mess, but it can at lease make cleanup easier. They come in 4 different colors, which is great because we color code our things for our different kids to keep them from fighting over them and blue and green were included. Cleaning of them is a snap. Some of the sand does get caught under the inflatable part when you are putting the sand away but not enough that it’s a pain to cleanup. If push comes to shove, soap and water will clean it all up without any issue. We haven’t tried it with a full 2 pounds of sand yet but they are pretty sturdy. If you are looking to contain your sensory sand while the kids are playing with it, this is the way to go.

Too Small = Big Mess
Once you inflate these they’re really small. If you’re expecting to keep sand confined during play you thought wrong.

Not deep enough
As a mom of an autistic boy, I have many years of making sensory bins. I now care for a second autistic and several toddlers. I thought this set of four would be perfect for sensory play. It’s not. Once I inflated one, my fear was confirmed. They are way too shallow for table play. Great idea but not deep enough. They might still work for things like shaving cream or slime play but not water or sand play. They are still useful, just not as versatile as I had expected.
