The mat is nice but it's not exactly the size it's supposed to be,it says 32×20 but it's actually 31 1/2×19 1/2, I guess the thing is you need to buy larger than what you really want.

We have three 100+ lb dogs, and they track in a ton of mud whenever it rains.This mat is soft and absorbent and definitely cuts way down on the amount of water and mud that gets tracked in.The only minor issue is that the mat is pretty light in weight, so as the dogs run inside, the mat can get kicked out of place or upside down. It's not hard to just take my foot and kick it back over into place, but when the paws are muddy and every step counts, it can be a bummer.But I'm sure making it heavier would make it cost more, and the price is part of the reason I chose this one. So it is what it is, but just something to take into consideration.We put the other mat directly under the food and water bowls. I haven't noticed any puddles or gunk from our messy drinkers since then.I've seen some other reviews complaining about them being chewed up by dogs. My dogs haven't chewed on it, but I'm sure just about any dog could rip the thing to pieces if they wanted to. Then again, dogs could probably chew just about any rug apart. So I don't really see how that's a product flaw. If that's a problem for you, either put the rug up when you're not using it, or put up a door/gate to keep the dog away from the rug. Or spray no-chew spray on it. Or sprinkle it with cayenne pepper.Just don't come back complaining on the internet because it was delicious.That just seems silly.

We have a couple of active dogs that utilize a dog door. Because of that but if independence, I am not at the door ready and willing to wipe their paws. I was hoping this rug would help with dirty paw tracks. It does an initial good job combined with a trail of rugs. I would recommend these rugs. They keep their shape when machine washing.
