Great item
I used to hang a light plastic mirror on a door and it is perfect (besides my partner drilling right through the door anyway lol). Mirror has been on the door for 6 weeks probably and looks like it’s fixed permanently

Useless - Avoid
These are absolutely useless, save your money and buy something different.My coat hook rack came away from a hollow door a couple of days ago because I’d just used screws. I bought these because they were advertised as ‘Hollow Door Fixing’ - bingo, just what I need !!!!I fitted these using the correct drill bit size and used the correct screw size as advised.One coat went on fine, 2 coats went on fine, third coat went on and they are now on the floor because it came away from the door, useless.I was able to hang more coats just using screws without the need for these pointless pieces of plastic.Now I’ve got a coat rack and coats on the floor as I did yesterday but now I’ve got 6mm holes in my door, avoid and look elsewhere.

Does the job, but difficult to get flush to the door.
I think someone else has already mentioned this, it is very hard to get these completely flush to the door, which means the bracket/hook/etc. is prone to wobbling. Yes you can channel the door out first, but if the door is very thin channeling it out just destabilises it. That said the fixing is holding well in the door, so for now all is good. The fixing is good quality and the guide to the size of drill and screw to use is accurate. Be prepared you will need to get that size of screw. I had lots of spare screws, but only a few of that size and some were too long.

Don,t bother.
These were purchased because I wanted to put hooks on the back of hollow doors. They just spun in th holes I drilled, correct size! Useless.

Worst thing I've ever bought
These fixings are embarrassingly bad. Followed the instructions to a tee. 2 just snapped the other didn't grip and soun around in the hole. Save yourself some money and either buy proper small hollow fixings or just use no nails!

I read the mixed reviews and was a little hesitant in ordering them but I thought what the hell and went ahead. I worried needlessly they did an excellent job fixing a 6 shelf spice rack to the inside of my cavity kitchen door. Absolutely no problems, use the recommended drill and screws and they will do the job.

Difficult to make the anchorage
Could get the plug to tighten enough to slit and hold on the inside of the door. Just pulled through the hole when weight put on the coat hooks.

Used to put a coat hook on hollow door, everything else I send faiked, this is still going strong several months later. Recommended, easy to use.
