These temperature/humidistats work great and enable one to see the values on your smart phone anytime and anywhere as long as there is a cell signal. Very easy to set up and use with the base station. Just follow the simple enclosed directions packaged with the units. Have been using these for approximately six months with no issues. Enable one to see a trend of temperature and humidity and even export data. Must have a WiFi signal to set up and connect to smart phone.

This is a great product for remotely monitoring temperature and humidity. It works exceptionally well, is a breeze to setup. The app supports multiple base stations as well so you can have multiple locations if necessary. For me, I have 2 base stations — one that I use to monitor my barn, farm office, and greenhouse, and the other that monitors my beehives — I place the sensors inside the hives. I do wish the thermo hygrometer sensors were a bit smaller, like Govees, but other than that have zero complaints. Battery life is very good. App performance is excellent and can easily view timeline trends per sensor by day, week, etc. A trend line report that would show all of a base stations connected sensors would be nice but there isn’t one currently. I have not tried any of X-Senses other sensors or safety / smoke detectors but if I had a need wouldn’t hesitate to add them to my systems.

I started with X-Sense fire alarm listeners to alert me if something happened. The base station came with the initial setup, which got me thinking - what else can I connect? After the fire alarm listeners, I added a Wi-Fi fire alarm in a room that didn’t have one, and then several water detectors. When I saw they had thermometers, I was excited to expand further. Installation was just as easy as the other devices. I now have them monitoring my attic (for heat), basement, home lab, and living area. The LCD is large and easy to read, even in the dark, and the accuracy seems solid (I don’t need perfection here). Considering the features and how seamlessly it integrates with an existing X-Sense system (only a single base station was needed), the value is amazing. Highly recommended!

These were VERY easy to set up, and they have been working great. For most people they are acceptably accurate, within 1.5 degrees at 75 degrees. I'm more OCD, so I calibrated them to match a laser thermometer I use for reference. Overall, I'm very happy with these, but I do have a few minor complaints with the app. 1. When the temperature went over one of the set levels, I instantly received a notification. This was exactly what I needed and it was the main reason I bought these. But a few seconds later I received another notification that it was back in range. For the next two minutes I received about 10 messages reporting that it was out and then back in range. A little annoying, but for me, it was a small price to pay to know that I could count on them to notify me when they were out of range. 2. Some of the text within the app is too small and printed in light gray making it nearly impossible to read. 3. On the Home Screen the Base Station shows up first, but it doesn't need to be accessed very often, if ever, and it should be positioned last. The thermometers show up in the order they were added, but that's not the order I want them to be in. There doesn't seem to be anyway to reposition them. These are small issues, but it cost them one star.

I'm very happy with these remote temp & humidity monitors so far. They seem very well made, come with everything you need and were fast and easy to set up on my Wifi. They are a nice size and seem quite accurate. The application is also very nice and easy to use, and provides lots of information.

I purchased this item to go with the required base station, which came with two sensors. The app is good, but the sensors are a complete waste of money. The are highly inaccurate. All five sensors are unable to provide accurate readings out of the box. I tested each one with an Inkbird (non wi-fi) sensor as well as other sensors and my home thermostat. All the sensors were measure room temperature within .5 degrees. The X-Sense were way off. I decide to calibrate the XSense to bring it within range, but they are off still. My digital meat thermometer is able to measure the room temperature better than these things (no joke). I also tested the sensor in a frig and freezer. The sense is able to transmit the signal to the base station, but the reading is again way off ( 5 degrees or more). I contacted support but they basically provided a Response that indicates these things useless. They do not work in an open room (family room), frig, freezer, basement, humidor, kitchen or home office. Not sure where these things were intended to operate. Don’t waste your money. The placement of sensors in relation to heat sources, airflow, and surrounding conditions can significantly impact their readings. Even in the same environment, differences in sensor materials, casing design, and response times can cause slight variations in temperature readings, especially when comparing devices from different brands. According to the user manual, the STH51 has a maximum accuracy of ±0.72°F (within the 32–140°F range). You can fine-tune the readings by calibrating the sensors. To do so, please tap the gear icon next to the STH51 in the app, go to Device Settings, and adjust the values under Calibration. Additionally, please note that our sensors are not designed for use inside refrigerators or freezers. Such environments may exceed the STH51's operating temperature range, leading to significant discrepancies in readings or even potential damage to the device. Al inicio todo bien, los sensores y su base se conectaron perfectamente entre sí y con la app. Pero ahora, en menos de un año, la base está fallando, se desconecta y reconecta al WiFi múltiples veces al día, genera muchas notificaciones y alarmas, cada día más, y no es problema del WiFi. Es una lástima, cumplía bien pero no es duradero.
