A great deal for pastry makers since you get a pin and a mat. The mat is your basic silicone kind of sticky mat with measurements and it does the job just fine. The rolling pin is beautiful and heavy. I guess I should I figured that since it is marble. I had a wooden one before and this is a great upgrade. No more splinters! The heaviness flattens and rolls dough way better and so easy to clean, hand wash only and really all you need to do. It has a rest too to lay it on and that is actually more useful than you will realize. Excellent set!

I love this rolling pin. This is perfect size for the time I make small butter rolls. This is heavy duty rolling pin, easy to use and clean. Nice product, especially for the price. I highly recommend this product.

Nice enough! There was a small rough spot towards the end of the pin, but since it’s in a spot 1 inch from the end I’m not concerned about it. I used food-grade mineral oil to seal the wood and it looks great. I can’t wait to use it. I know it will be so much better than my heavy old plastic rolling pin. That thing was so heavy and unwieldy, and I didn’t like the lines it left in my dough from the edges of the pin, which is why I replaced it. I would recommend it, and the price is nice! Just please don’t follow Walfo’s instructions that say to rub it with vegetable oil. That’s a terrible idea, unless you want the oil soaked into your pin to go rancid, because that’s what will happen. I can’t believe the Walfos company would recommend to use vegetable oil. A quick google search will tell you to always use food grade mineral oil on cutting boards, rolling pins and wooden utensils, and NEVER vegetable oil, or any other oil that can go rancid.

Got this for my boyfriend's birthday and he loves it. The quality of the rolling pin is great and the marble is very heavy. We keep the pin on open shelving so the little wooden rest is perfect for keeping it in place.

This little rolling pin is a great size for my kitchen adventures when a full size roller is just too big for my project at hand. The color is great and the surface is smooth with no splinters or visible flaws. Easy to roll! Easy to hand-wash after use.

This is a very nice mini rolling pin. Fancy It works like it should, easy clean up and storage. (I kept the plastic bag it came in) Would make a nice gift

Nicely shaped roller and enough for me to do rotis and make GF pizza dough! There was NO funnel with the rolling pin (per the instruction card) to "season" the rolling pin so i used plastic gloves for the oil. Love it! Smooth and like the feel of it..would order again.
