I’ve been using this iron supplement for years. It’s easy to take and doesn’t taste awful.

The taste imof any iron supplement is gonna be kinda gross, but these aren't terrible. Can't absorb in my stomach, so these are great since they dissolve under my tongue.

I hate swallowing pills so I buy a lot from Superior Source. Initially I was put off by the smell, but all iron pills smell bad in my opinion. I took it anyway and it didn't taste bad for an iron pill. I'll keep buying it for sure.

For some reason my body does not absorb iron in tablet form whatsoever so I have to take sublingual. SOOOO it does work apparently because my ferritin went up from 27 to 39 in about 2 months and my ferritin would never BUDGE or go UP with any iron tablets. Therefore sublingual is the way to go if you have a poor digestive system.HOWEVER, I do not let the tablets melt underneath my tongue anymore because it stained the back of my lower teeth so I just let them melt on my tongue instead and still get the same results.

I bought this for my mom because her oncologist told her to take iron. First I bought my mom another iron supplement that said it was easy on the stomach but it was not. My mom is very happy with this supplement and the results.

Taste ain’t bad

I've tried several brands of iron supplements over the past 1.5 years of trying to increase my ferritin levels (get your ferritin tested instead of iron ladies....my iron was normal but ferritin was very low). This is the first brand that seems to work really well! My ferritin levels increased 12 pts in 6 weeks of taking 1-2 pills per day. Two things to note: I do not hold these under my tongue, because it tastes like you are sucking on a sweetened penny - a really gross metallic taste. But the good news is that absorption seems to be good even if you just swallow the pill. Second thing - since these are made to dissolve under your tongue, they do fall apart a bit in the bottle or a pill case. Just FYI.

Ick! These taste awful. I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. Even two Peanut Butter Cups wouldn't erase the taste. I just can't take the rest of them. I love Superior Source B12 tablets. Those are pleasant and I can hardly taste anything with those, but the Iron tablets leave a lingering metallic after-taste that won't go away. Maybe it's not the same for everyone, I don't know, but they don't work for me. I saw that some people had trouble with the iron tablets discoloring their teeth. I'll find another iron supplement.
