This product works perfectly in my PS3 , and is fairly easy to fit once i searched around on the internet on how to do. PS3's have a tendancy to burn the blu-ray laser out fairly quickly ( why dont Sony allow to install the games on the hardrive as can be done on x box 360 ). this laser mech fits perfectly in PS3 320gb model, my only gripe is that the instructions only go as far as to remove the blu-ray drive, nothing is mentioned about removing the laser mechanism from the drive; but to be honest this is fairly easy . 5 stars for the product only let down by the instruction manuel. If your getting lots of freezing issues on your PS3 then get this.

I have been struggling to stop my son's PS3 from freezing and tried many different ideas that were posted on the net. My Bluray was playing up for ages, so getting this and installing it myself saved me me about £50, and the hassle of replacing the whole console.

It didn't really look like "new" (some scratch) but works perfectly...and so it did save our PS3...so I could give 5 stars (if no scratch...)

I change the laser mechanism for myself and it work fine. Its tha same specification from the original. My son loved!
