What I wanted was a CarPlay screen for my VW Up but everything I looked at except this was too big, dominating the dashboard. Using the glass sucker mount this is just the right size. (The box also ships with a permanent mount). Does everything it says on the box - if your iPhone has a.v. Apps, this mirrors them on screen. Bluetooths audio to the car stereo. The product is amazing in terms of durability and quality. The clarity it gives, image brightness and screen size are the features that I liked most. In terms of setup, it is matchless.

Easy to install with clear instructions. The Bluetooth works well and the screen has transformed the navigation experience I.e. you can read/see the screen instructions now! Well worth the money.

For the sake of 40 odd quid it was worth a try and if it wasn't great then it's no big loss, but it's actually a really nice unit and well packaged in a smart looking box etc. Definitely better than I expected by a long way. Nice features are that it seems to be able to remember the FM frequency you're using in a really old car and you just leave the same preset on the radio for it to deliver sound. It's not going to be Bose or HK quality for sure, but it's genuinely not bad at all. Also connects to the phone well without glitching or any real lag, which or modern car struggles with, and again it's better than expected. Suction mount may need a bit of glue once you find the right spot to stop it needing readjusting every time you hit a bump, but the sucker is holding well to the screen. Neither are a problem now as the screw mount is being used. I'd buy again, nice to actually get a bargain device that works for a change, and doesn't feel anywhere near as cheap as it was.

This is good as it allows me to use Google maps and android auto can't find my phone. However it's a nightmare when answering a call hands free! The sound and microphone don't work properly so I can hear people but they hear the radio from the car bizarrely. So it's a pain in that respect and I have to unplug this, turn the system off and restart to actually be able to talk to anyone on the hands free!

So the product is good, I’ve had two of these and the FM connection is strong, sound is good via FM and the speed and screen response good. Apple car play works reliably - better than OEM screens I’ve used - BMW take note. The stand is robust and cables supplied of good quality and length. The one issue is the reversing camera wiring diagram which made no sense to me. However it turns out to be easy. The supplied AV cable has two red pigtails available - one either end of the cable - these can be disregarded as they are for built in stereos where there is a signalling cable required to show the video. For this installation you can if you want tape these up or cut them off. Now the power comes from the red plug which has a red and black cable. These cables go to your reversing light +ve and -ve 12v feed. Check you have 12v with a meter as some newer cars have canbus and might provide 6v which may not activate your camera That’s it, once you have a good 12v supply and run the cable through it will activate every time you put it into reverse. Happy days

Took me a bit to get it going as not very tech minded. Haven’t wired it up only using the cigarette lighter bit to get it working. Use my Spotify to play music through it and mirrored phone so can get calls and use of google maps!! Bluetooth connected, screen size is ideal, easy to use
