My 2 youngest grandsons love cars! I bought this flashcard pack an optional source of entertainment; however, the cards did not do this. I can only guess the information was not "interesting" or "sensational" enough to hold their attention. I read a few to get some answers, and I'd have to agree, it reads rather dry and boring.

My 4 year old son is a car fanatic!! When walking through a car parking lot he will sound off with every car name that we pass. Although he can't read yet, he identifies them but the manufactures emblems. He has gotten pretty good and I believe that this will help him to read once he puts two and two together with the car name and emblems. When I came across these brand logo cards, I knew that he would love it and he does! He was so excited to get this gift for his 4th birthday. I'm guessing has know about half of the vehicles in the pack of cards but he will learn them all. There are actually several "new", electric car brands that I am not familiar with, so we are both learning something. In addition to the car names and logos, on the backside of the cards are information to the history of the car manufacturing companies. Great gift for any young car lover!!
