UCO Stormproof Match Kit with Waterproof Case, 25 Stormproof Matches and 3 Strikers - Orange, Green, and Yellow

I bought this set to gift my three adult children for emergency use while camping. Anyone who has tried to light a fire or stove with matches (or a butane lighter) while camping knows wind and rain are always powerful opponents to getting that done. These incendiary matches get the job done with a single match as long as you can ignite your tinder in the handful of seconds in which these burn aggressively. The longer Titan variant would be better for igniting a campfire, burning perhaps twice the time.I cite "for emergency use" because these are costly per ignition (only 25/box). My go-to method to ignite a stove is to use an Arc lighter (with flex tube) of 'outdoor grade' since wind and rain cannot prevent an arc from igniting gas. I also use the Arc to ignite a suitable fire starter (e.g., petroleum jelly impregnated cotton ball/strip or commercial cotton fabric based fire starter) which ignites tinder in the fire lay. The Arc lighter can provide tens of thousands of brief arcs over its lifetime. A mini-BIC butane lighter is a flame or even spark-making backup to the Arc, and a few of the incendiary matches a very last resort in a fire kit.

This is a complete misrepresentation let’s start with what is not open to debate. The listing states that it comes with 125 matches. What I received was not that. I received only, and exactly, ONE olive drab, colored, waterproof case. Not yellow. And not orange. That case contained exactly 12 matches. Additionally, two boxes of 25 matches each were included in the shipment. That is a total of 62 matches. Which is absolutely not 125 matches as listed in the Advertisement.So for $20, I got one waterproof match case with 12 matches inside, and a total of 50 matches. It did not come with the other two cases, nor did it come with the other 63 matches.The worst part is that this item is not returnable. Buyer beware!

These matches are perfect for any survival situation. I've used them camping, in wet weather, and they never fail. I even lit one and threw it in a puddle of water, and it continued to burn! Highly recommended.

I expected to get what was advertised in the description. Instead I got ONE Green match kit, with 12 matches and TWO boxes of 25 matches..NO yellow or Orange stormproof cases... I got screwed for $21.00 + Beware!
