Cheap fixings that round and don't do the job supplied for. Literally to clamp pole in place won't tighten enough before rounding screw head

changed the nuts to nyloc lock nuts that was very important to me as i had a few fittings work loose with vibration. i stamped new accurate marks on the thickness scale using a punch. now i have a fantastic Mill for the price ! the scale was 1/4 of an inch off so did not need to make much alteration and i could have lived with it! over the moon with this bit of kit !

Good value. More complicated to assemble than I anticipated. You’ll need a long bat for anything wider than 15”. You lose 4-5” of cutting length once the jig is assembled. Takes a long time to rip through hardwoods. Good value.

It started with a bit of a glitch as I received this portable chainsaw mill without the post clamps and could therefore not assemble. I contacted Carmyra via Amazon and they responded very quickly. They shipped the post clamps immediately from China but it took three weeks to get them, being stuck at canadian customs for a while. Assembly was not that obvious as the photos provided are very small (would be nice to have a pdf file we could enlarge) but I made it and have since cut quite a few planks 14'' wide by 12' long for my treehouse with my Husqvarna Rancher 460 and a 24'' blade. It works like wonder and is very robust construction. By the way, I've put lock washers at every connection to ensure they don't loosen up with such vibration. Great value for money, I highly recommend this Carmyra product.
