Wonderful product
I work with children with special needs and severe behavior issues and these cards are a great addition to my teacher bag. Whenever one of my students get over stimulated, I pull out the cards and put them in the cozy corner and they concentrate on the cards and words and forget about what was happening and in the classroom that upset them. They are especially useful with my children who are non verbal.

If you want to confuse your kids, this is for you.
Worked great for several months, but all of a sudden it started misreading the cards or not even saying anything at all. Also, when you hold down on one of the buttons it plays the alphabet, however letters are jumbled up.

Completely Waste
This was definitely not worth it nor can I recommend it. The cards themselves are very flimsy. I don’t let my little ones play with them alone for fear they will rip them. Which defeats the purpose of a tool to help reinforce words since I could just read them myself to them. But worse than that, the reader gets the word names wrong about 1 out of 10 times. It’s terribly inaccurate which again, makes the product not only useless but harmful. I would not recommend for anyone that needs a tool to help their kids. It will do more harm than good. The only value to me is the cards which I read myself. But even with that, the cards are not typical American words. Some of the items on the cards are not things we’d typically encounter in America. The reader is useless beyond being just a funny game for my older kids to see how many times they can try a card and get it right before they get one that is wrong which amuses them for a little while. I rarely say this with my reviews but, do not even bother to waste your time on this one.
