It is early days but The mouth guard is comfortable and easy to use. I am sleeping well. Hopefully it will help to stop any damage to my teeth and jaw.

I agree these are too thick. They're also incredibly dangerous.When receiving one of this from a dentist they make a mould impression, that is sent to a lab where they build up a gypsum copy of your mouth, and a plastic disk is placed on top and vaccumed to the shape. It's then cut, smoothed and tailored to your mouth; a much more extensive process, however, it's about 50 times more expensive. But...it's worth it. Here's why; these blanks are 4x thicker than the material dentists use, they end up being uncomfortable to wear, hard to clean (smelly), and difficult to sleep in. The blanks are so thick that you'll never get a decent enough impression, this can lead to occusal shifting (movement of teeth). If you're waking up after using these and your teeth feel funny it's because the guard is pushing on them and they've shifted the tiniest of amounts, you keep using the poorly fitted guard you'll end up with bigger problems. There are other solutions to this problem of price, others that are more tailored to your mouth and ones that are made up for you at a dental laboratory cutting out the dentist (saving you money). I really don't recommend these at all, they're inadequate at best and dangerous at worst. I should have known better but I was swayed by the price, but it's a hefty price to pay when tooth health is the ultimate cost.

The guards are far too thick and bulky and no-one would be comfortable with it in their mouth all night to protect against teeth grinding. The plastic was malleable enough when put into hot water at 80 degrees but is so thick that it is impossible to bite down to shape it to one's teeth. I followed the instructions to the letter and tried with 3 mouthpieces but it was hopeless, so a waste of money unfortunately.

No fit, no confortable for sleep.
