High quality, heavy grooves
Beautiful book by Richard, one of the foremost writers on the psych scene of this era. Paper quality and colour reproduction are excellent. Makes you want to own all these lps. At this price, a book any music enthusiast would be pleased to have.

A wonderful trip filled book. The pic's and stories regarding these bands give the reader a real sense of the days when LP's ruled the world. These are the albums you have been looking for.

Visuals and texts are great overall, a good mix of classic albums and rarities. A good pick for fans of 60s music and counterculture scene

i bought this book years ago when i had an increasingly growing interest in 60s music and using it as a roadmap helped a lot in my exploration. i tend to listen to a bands entire discography while reading about them, and this gave me a lot of information to read as well as the bands to look into, which inevitably always lead to even more bands. i still reference this book from time to time if i come across a band i first discovered in it but haven't listened to in a while. great read, whether you're intensely researching your music or if you just kind-of like the doors because your dad did and you want to hear similar things.
