My hammy had got a bit big for his previous wheel so after a lot of searching around I discovered The Super Silent Wheel.This wheel really is almost silent no matter how hard my hammy runs.....and he runs quite fast! It has a good solid base stand and there's no wobbling. It doesn't attach to the cage bars but I prefer the free standing wheels anyway as there's no risk of the wheel rattling against the bars of the cage. It seems to be well constructed and is easy to clean.It's plenty deep enough and the 8.5 inch size is perfect for my hamster, he can run with ease and there is no curving of his back. Just for context my hammy is a average sized male Syrian.

This hamster wheel has been fab, there are various options for securing it and the set up for attaching to bars on cage is better than others we have (very sturdy). We haven't tried the stand or suction attachment. Its also very quiet, I'm not sure any are truely silent but as there's no wobble it's quiet and we're very happy with it. Glad I took the gamble even though no reviews when purchased.

I needed quiet wheel as the hamster cage is in my bedroom. At first it was very silent like the manufacturer says, but over time started to become more and more noisy.Since last week, which is only 4 month since purchase, the wheel squicks very loud every time hamster tries to go on. Extremely noisy at this point.High price, so expected long lasting product. Very disappointed.

Had this for a year, still works perfectly, although hamster getting a bit fat a lazy these days so less usage.This is our second. Made mistake on first getting the bearings wet which rusted and therefore wouldn't spin. So be careful on cleaning and you won't get any issues

Silent as it says and easy to assemble

The wheel is a nice size and very sturdy, easy to remove from cage to clean etc but it’s not in any way silent. I didn’t expect fully silent but our hamster lives at one end of the house and even with the room shut, I can hear him while in bed at the other end of the house. For the price- not worth it.

This is not suitable for Syrian hamsters. They need 28cm. This however is perfect for my dwarf. I have it stuck on the side of his (fish)tank & it’s silent. He runs for hours on it, super happy with it seeing as it is my fourth wheel for him as the others would either squeak or have other issues etc… Definitely recommend.

Our gerbil enjoyed the wheel, it is a good size and silent and putting it together was easy.However, we were not able to fit in on the bars of the cage and the base is not stable enough, so it kept moving to whatever side the gerbil ran, making lots of noise as it moved until it would eventually hit one side of the cage.We had to use tapes to stick the base to the shelf as well as 2 bits of wire around the column and the cage bars at the back in order to secure it in place, and thankfully our pet does not seem to be interested in gnawing on any of them.All in all, a lot of DIY involved, but our pet seems to like it.
