Louisiana Style Hot Sauce 150ml - Chilli Mash Co - Vegan, All-Rounder, Southern American Style Tabasco Sauce with Cayenne Chillies

Oh my gosh, this has fast become one of my all time favourite hot sauces! It doesn’t lack a punch when it comes to heat level, tbh it’s relatively mild but the taste is totally there and it hits! The garlic really comes through and it’s delicious! I have noticed some variation in heat level between batches but nothing overly significant - generally the quality is very good! It doesn’t really have like a smoky or bbq kind of taste, it’s not that kind of sauce but it is delicious! I’d say when it comes to value for money, it is a little pricey. I think the price point could be lowered a little as you don’t get HUGE amounts in a bottle and with it being quite a thin sauce, you end up using a fair amount when you tip it out. It is a cracking hot sauce though! Would recommend if you’re looking for a nice garlic addition to your collection!

Delicious fresh taste with just right heat

The list of ingredients is quite short, which is always a good thing, and all natural and normal ingredients. Like all sauces of this type it has a good amount of vinegar (which is noticeable in the taste) but it is only the second ingredient. On the other hand, the nutritional table, low sugar content but I am surprised by the high salt content. Something that is not unusual in sauces but surprises me in a sauce of this type.The taste is good, with some vinegar and garlic flavour. At first it doesn't seem very spicy, it stays on the tip of the tongue and when you drink a little more it reaches the whole mouth. The spiciness rises gradually without being over the top. Mixed with other foods it is even less spicy. The indication of 2 chilli peppers seems adequate.The jar is made of glass, which denotes a good quality or at least a better first impression. The jar is of good quality, with a good cap that closes really well and avoids spillage scares.The best before date is almost 1.5 years from purchase. Although as with other sauces it is recommended to consume it within 6 weeks, which is really not very long for such a hot sauce. I don't think it's any different from others that I've had open for months and years and it's still almost as good as the first day.

Ordered this for my stepdad for Christmas as he loves hot sauces. He opened it later and we all tried and WOW! I immediately ordered two more bottles for home plus other sauces to try. Would massively recommend.

I got this through a Bauce Brothers subscription and finished the bottle within a few days, so ordered some more on Amazon.It's a good level of heat (it's not going to leave you in tears or regretting a binge the next day) and a wonderful flavour; it goes exceptionally well with hot wings but I've had it with pasta, an omelette, on pizza and even with chips/fries).It's not the cheapest but if you like a hot sauce with a good flavour (not just hot for the sake of it) then I thoroughly recommend.

Excellent tasting Mexican style jalapeño & tomatillo sauce, bags of flavour for people wanting a tasty milder sauce as a condiment.
