Yes it has fixings on the back for either landscape or portrait.

Q: Would 40x60cm fit a canvas 18mm thick? If not, do you do something that does?

I'm afraid it won't, sorry. It is really only for a photo, possibly with a mount. You would have to adapt it somehow to fit something 18mm deep into it as the back would no longer slot into the frame. I don't know off hand of another frame that would be deep enough for your canvas.

Q: what size picture can be fitting in this frame?

You can use it for a picture sized 40x60 cm although a few millimetres will not be seen due to the width of the frame bar and you can use the inlay as a mount for an imaged sized 30x45 cm.

Q: Is it possible to get this frame in size 40x40cm?

No! You'd have to go for 30x40cm frame an trim some off top poster or go for 40x50cm an trim some off bottom and hopefully you don't lose any of your actual picture!

Nice frame

Nice frame and in perfect condition. It also arrived with the best packaging I have ever had from Amazon! It reminded me of the old 'pass the parcel' game as I unwrapped the various layers.

Good quality, fun and easy

Wanted some nice colourful frames to put up pictures in my son's room. Recently went shopping at IKEA and everything colourful was out of stock, so went to Amazon.These are good quality and easy to use; lightweight material but they look good on the wall. Lots of different colours to pick from; the green I chose was accurate to the picture. What was definitely not 'green' was the amount of packaging used for delivery. Only ordered 2 frames; each came in its own cardboard packaging about 3 times the size of the frame. Thought I'd ordered some jet engine parts by mistake....!

Great value for money!

Ordered 2 of these for canvas prints. Arrived quickly, well packaged with no damage at all. Frames aren’t the most sturdy it does the job. Would definitely buy again!

Not that sturdy frames. I found them slightly too small for my 8''x10''inc photos, as I had to fold the edges of the photos to be able to get them in the frames.
