Poor quality typesetting and printing - unusable
The content is very useful, and it is well presented. However, the way that the book is printed makes it unusable. It is a shame to see the author's effort to be completely undone by what appears to be the publisher's cost-saving strategy. The font is 6 pts at most, it is even smaller on maps. Using the book while riding in a car is next to impossible. The book is printed on thin grey paper, so all photos look faded out and milky. Skip the paperback version, maybe use the digital one.

Greatly appreciated.
This thing helped us to chose our limited time in the U-P and align our routing to our advantage. Highly recommended especially if one is making their first venture to the U-P.

Need a guidebook for the UP
I find that the UP is more difficult to research and plan than most other places. This book was a huge help. We traveled all over with it and consulted it countless times. If you’re going to spend any time exploring the UP, get yourself a book. We recommend this one. It elevated our experience.

Great travel destination. Great series.
Michigan’s UP is a great place to travel. You can do all the outdoor activities or you can go to the cities and towns for museums, restaurants, plays, and parks. The restaurant recommendations in the Moon series are spot on. We have taken their advice in our travels from out East to the Western States.

Same info as the 2021 version
I have the 2021 version, which I love, but the 2024 is almost identical to the other one. In some cases, word by word. I was hoping to see something new.I will be returning the 2024 book.
