Cobbe Filtered Shower Head with Handheld, 6 Spray Modes, Water Softener Filters - Remove Chlorine, Reduce Dry Skin - Brushed Nickel

This shower head has been an upgrade from my last 2. I recently needed to buy a replacement shower head because I wanted one that I could hold and move around (to clean the corners of the shower). The head had 3 very misty spray-like options that made my tiny apartment VERY humid and generally wet. It also had a feature where I could take off the head to have a power jet like hose setting.This shower head is sooo much BETTER. Has soo many options including a misty option (which I didn't hate buy dont want all the time). My favorite mode, and the one that made me write this review, is the combo massage and rainfall option. I also really like that it's just a click of a button to switch to the very powerful, power wash mode and I dont have to detach any pieces like the previously mentioned and returned shower head.This shower head is amazing super easy install, good value, looks good. Checked all of my shower head boxes.

I love this shower head! I wanted to treat my hair/skin better, so I bought this filtered shower head as a way to reduce the chlorine hitting my hair. The ease of use in installing and ease of use while in the shower makes this worthwhile. There are a couple settings on the shower head with some feeling like you're being hit by a power washer, but overall it is nice to have different settings depending on what you are trying to clean. I'm not sure if it is helping with my hair or skin health, but having the functionality of a moveable shower head makes showering easier for me. Moreover, there's this peace of mind I have, in which I am trying reduce my body's exposure to bad substances and this checks it off. I haven't replaced the filter since I bought it, but I haven't noticed any changes to the water in the year I've used it. Overall, I have no complaints with this shower head and it has been my partner in crime for over a year now. Hopefully I have been increasing my hair/skin health by using it.

Great high pressure and light pressure settings. I have hair down to my lower back and need higher pressure to help get it thoroughly rinsed. This is great! Easy to install. Even comes with the Teflon tape! I love it! This is my second purchase of this same shower head! If you have hard water you can disassemble and soak in vinegar when you get buildup!

This shower head is awesome, once I was able to install it! There were a few glitches, mostly my fault, but one thing I would recommend is not using the white teflon tape that comes with the packaging as it is VERY thin and a pain to work with. I used my own tape that I had in my toolbox. The directions are pretty straightforward , & the shower head should be easy enough to install, but I am handicapped so it took a little longer than it should have. Realistically it should only take about 5 minutes. Once it was installed it worked beautifully on the rain setting, which is my preferred setting. The hose is longer than others I’ve used, and the unit is adjustable so it sprays right where you want it to. There is great pressure, and I just wanted to stay under the water stream all day (or until the hot water ran out!). Once I did get out, I could definitely tell that my skin felt softer! The only issue I have is that I cannot change to different settings. As I mentioned the rain shower is my preferred setting, so this isn’t a deal breaker for me, but part of the reason I bought this was to try the different settings. I’m not sending it back as A) I don’t feel like disconnecting it & hooking up another one, B) the price was extremely reasonable, & C) I’m happy with how it works as is. Maybe I’ll check into the settings at a later date as it’s probably “user error”, but for now I am extremely pleased with this product. I deducted a star due to the settings; if I get them working I will edit to 5 stars. I definitely recommend this product.

I tried the Cobbe Handheld Showerhead (Round), while not the most ideal choice i could have purchased, it was the most cost effective for me at this time. I made two attempts with this shower-head and the second is by far the best im gonna get on my budget. My first attempt i noticed the water filtration at work instantly, but the water pressure was so low to what im used to it just took longer to complete my shower as i take fast showers and lather my entire body; low water pressure will take longer to rise you off. —I found a solution after taken the shower head off the hose and notice a rubber O-ring with hole evening space around it, YEP, this was a built-in style water flow restrictor. so i used a dental tool and pried it out, then tested the shower head after reconnecting, i could instantly hear the difference of strong water pressure and the next day when i showered i could feel it too. made getting a shower much easier and faster.Now, there “might” be a downside to this … it unknown if the filter can properly filter water fast enough with the higher flow of water like it was prior at the slow flow rate. But so far it has, just is so-so with filtering the chloramine in the water using the Basic Filter. (might have to test the upgraded filter)Side Note: I will say it does a fair job at filtering “Chloramine” which since 2002 is what most city water uses to clean the water; it smells like chlorine but isnt really not anymore. Chloramine is a stable unlike chlorine so its much harder to filter, and since showers rely on warm/hot water use of carbon filters is not a good option even though they are most effective; since hot water destorys carbon filters quickly. The only thing ive found the works is using actived carbon granuals (little rock shaped) or using catalytic carbon. then it can manage with hot water but it still wont be as effective as with cold water and the lifespan will not last as long either.
