Amazing so far! I got this very soon before travelling and took it with me on a trip. It made sitting in the hard seats at the airport so much better. It is a firm cushion so if you're looking for soft and fluffy it's not this. This is firm with structure and appropriate thickness for what it's meant to do. For me that is perfect. I love the gripping on the bottom so it won't slide out from under you. It supports my joints and back so that I'm not in pain from bad seating. I definitely recommend it. It is also easy to travel with, it fit in my backpack and was light enough so it wasn't a burden. Went through TSA fine. It's worth the money spent so long as it holds up with time.

I purchased this for my car. I am short and seats don’t adjust high enough for me to see the road well unless I use a booster. Pillows flatten and so does memory foam. This one is pretty firm, so it works for me very well. I still find it comfortable. Before I took it to my car I used it in my dining room chair where I sit to feed my grandson. The angle usually hurts my back, but using the cushion makes it completely pain-free. I ordered a second one because I want one for both places. Although it is firm, I find it comfortable even on long trips.

Let's face it: You're probably looking at this "booster" seat cushion because you're a shortie like me. I've sat in my car for three years without this cushion and was just fine - and many cars for many years before that. I don't need the cushion to see over the steering wheel. But I've been having a lot of neck pain, and my physical therapist told me to pay attention to my posture, including while driving. It was after that that I started to notice how the head rest in my car pushes my head forward a bit, which makes me recline my seat back a bit, and then my whole spine is out of whack. So I thought I would give this cushion a try.While my neck pain isn't resolved (and this cushion isn't designed for that), I have noticed some other great benefits to using this cushion:1. The seat belt crosses my shoulder in a better place. It used to occasionally slide up dangerously close to my neck, and I'd be constantly tugging at it to get it back down. (Yes, the adjustable seat belt height thing is a low as it goes.)2. With some added height, now the visor actually blocks most of the sun. Before I started using the cushion, I would have to hold one hand up to shield the sun from my eyes while driving with the other hand.3. The curvature of my car's seats hits a better spot in my low back. I never knew the comfort possibilities I was missing!Finally I'm sitting in the car the way it was designed!On the other hand, there are a couple of cons to this cushion design, if used in a car:1. Although it has tiny grippy dots on the bottom that help prevent sliding, it does still move around a bit. An adjustable strap that goes around the back of the car seat and attaches the cushion securely in place would greatly improve the design by keeping it from sliding forward. I may MacGyver my own strap for this purpose.2. I swear I read that this cushion worked with bucket seats, but I've found that the shape doesn't quite contour properly in my sport seats, and it's wider than the flat portion of my car seat. It's not a huge issue since the memory foam is very flexible, but I find myself having to adjust it about once every other day or so. It's not uncomfortable, but feels strange when it's out of place, and I imagine it's not helping with my posture / neck pain when it slides to one side.In all, it seems like a pretty good cushion if your expectation is a bit of a boost in the car. It's comfortable if you like a slightly cushier seat, but not so soft that you lose the lift. I haven't tried it on any long-distance trips yet, so I'll revise my review when I do.

I bought this about 6 yrs ago, have used it almost daily for 8+ hours a day and it’s still doing its job. I work in law enforcement and wear a duty belt which caused pain in my tailbone as I drove my patrol vehicle. I began using this pillow and haven’t had pain since. Yes the cushion it is stiff when you first sit on it but after about 5-10mins it conforms to your body providing the perfect support. As strange as it sounds, you would think something that I’ve been sitting on constantly would start to have an odor but I haven’t experienced that. The cover is removable and I would suggest washing it inside out. I’m only writing this because I considered replacing it but then I realized that it other than usual wear, it still works great! Packaged poorly in a thin plastic layer which was ripped upon receiving.Overall the cushion cover is soft and seemed durable. Side handle seems useless for automotive use. This cushion didn't have any straps to secure to car seat, cushion slid around and shifted during use. The cushion had not cooling properties so if using in warm climate you will sweat. Works well in a compact sizes car, way to small for an suv or pickup sized vehicle front seat.

Extremely comfortable. Using it in the driver's seat of my car. I can now see over car hood much better. May buy another for my chair in the house.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Decent quality. I took this on a trip to South America this spring. I clipped it to my carry-on backpack, and I used it on the plane, and on uncomfortable seats all over the continent. It saved my back! Cushion still has lots of life left — I will use it in my office chair. Nice that it has velour cover. I’ve had similar cushions that have a satin-like cover, and my rear end slipped right off the chair. No sliding on this cushion. Functionality:I have used wedge cushions before. This one is better quality than many I’ve had in the past.
