Good product
This was easy to put together, I was able to do it all by myself except for lifting it and putting it in place. It seems plenty sturdy and fits well in the area I had measured for it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Shoe Storage Solution – Looks Great & Holds SO Much!
This Prepac tall shoe cabinet in white is honestly a game-changer for our flat in Boston! • Assembly was easy, straightforward (took me and my husband about 30 minutes max). Instructions are clear and concise, all parts were easily identifiable, and everything arrived in perfect condition. • The 36 cubbies are surprisingly roomy. I can fit my 6(36) size shoes easily with room to spare and even some small boots upright. Right now I have 42 pairs in there with a couple cubbies left over for a few of my clutch bags. • At 72.5” tall it uses vertical space beautifully and doesn’t feel bulky because the depth is only 13”. It tucks perfectly inside our walk in closet. • The white finish is clean and bright – matches our modern chic vibe perfectly and makes the closet look more organized and polished. If you’re on the fence, just go for it. The quality is excellent for the price and it instantly decluttered my closet. Couldn’t be happier – highly recommend!

Not a one person job
So, I am newly alone, widowed, and I find that there are so many small things that I find to do in order to keep my mind from dark places. So, I attacked my shoe "issue." First off, I am not a hoarder. I acquire far too many things, but am not resistant to getting rid of things I no longer use or wear. I have whittled my wardrobe back by about 50%. I have hard to fit feet (6.5 W) with a high instep and arches and I need support. When I find a pair of shoes that I really like aesthetically as well as in comfort, I don't let go! So, what's that got to do with this review? Not much really I guess. Just explaining that I may wear each of these pairs of shoes once or twice a year. They do bring me joy, just not daily. And, like a lot of people, shoe storage became a real issue, as I certainly don't have a lifestyle that would support a shoe "room." I already jimmied my wide closet into 2 smaller horizontal sections. I've tried so many racks and cubbies and bins. This one FINALLY did it for me. It's very nice and I feel it is plenty sturdy especially where I have it. A few comments about comments I'd read: *It is NOT marked! That being said, it wasn't too hard to figure out which piece was which. Go slow and steady and match the pieces with the inventory list. *It is freaking HEAVY! All flat packs are. So unless you really are alone in the world, ask for help. *My shoes fit easily with the left shoe (on its side) hell-out and the right heel-in and overlapping the left slightly. They would never fit sole-down side by side. It works for my shoes (see picture) but if you have big feet, This would be a risky purchase. *Make sure you measure the available width at SEVERAL points vertically. My first mistake was measuring the opening around the middle height-wise and not taking into account the molding and quarter round at the bottom. I almost yanked it out when my building buddy took a width measurement a bit higher and found that the closet was not square. Luckily, it fit into the other side, but we still had the molding problem. My buddy fixed that by building a small simple platform. All in all, for the price, this is a great piece and would only suggest STRONGLY that they label the parts.

Organize Your Shoes With This!
Great shoe organizer! I had been using one of those shoe racks with the metal bars that are set lower on one side; the shoes roll off if you don’t place the lower end towards the wall, and it wobbles. This organizer is very sturdy and looks like it was bought at a closet store. It is very heavy and awkward to move while it’s in the box; you will need two people and a two wheeled furniture mover. The assembly instructions are in picture format; it is so easy to put together. Each page of instructions has the time to assemble that step printed in each page; it is pretty accurate. Once assembled, because it is pressed wood it is very heavy, so again…two people to move. The height is perfect, the quality is amazing for pressed wood furniture. I bought the white which is clean and bright. The top three cubby’s are taller than the rest; I fit my ankle boots in them, one pair for each and standing up. This was a great buy and I’d buy it again if I needed another.

Looks nice, but completely useless as a shoe cabinet
I was really excited about this shoe storage cabinet because the quality seems solid—the wood/finish looks good, it’s sturdy, and it fits nicely in my entryway without taking up too much space. But the shelves are ridiculously narrow. Not a single pair of shoes fits properly, even small to normal sizes (I’m talking US women’s 6–8, standard sneakers, flats, or low-profile shoes—no boots or anything bulky). The least you expect from a “shoe cabinet” is that it can actually hold… shoes. Instead, my pairs have to be jammed in at an angle , or just don’t fit at all. It’s basically decorative furniture now, not functional storage. Super disappointing—false advertising on the product photos/description. Save your money and look for something with wider shelves.

Works for Me! Looks great!
WIFE’S REVIEW: This is a very good looking shoe storage/organizer. It fit inside our small closet perfectly and I love how organized my shoes are. It’s sturdy and it doesn’t wobble. I think it’s worth the investment. Putting it together was a bit difficult since the parts don’t have labels on it. It was also a pain to put the shelving in and after my husband and I placed it in, I realized that I can’t take the dividers out to fit my taller items like my boots and purses. My husband had to dismantle then I had to decide how I wanted the dividers and had to do it over again. The cubbies are really small. I have size 6 shoes and it was difficult for me to fit my chunkier shoes and had to angle them a certain way. If you are more of a sandals and flats kind of person it could work but for sure not advisable if you have bigger and bulkier shoes.

This is a wonderful piece - I put it together myself fairly easily. It's compact in size but accomodates 36 pairs of shoes which is awesome, and it looks great to boot! I highly recommend this product. If you have large or bulky shoes, then you may need to use one slot per shoe. I wear a W10.5 and still managed to get my runners into one slot.

Once set up, it helps organize the back entry so well! The instructions say two people for assembly and that would make it so easy, only issue with one was getting the slots into the frame, otherwise one was fine.

Really like this shoe storage cabinet. The only complaint that I have is that I wish the the slots for the shoes were bigger and that there were some slots big enough to hold boots. I can just fit a pair of women's size 7.5 runners in a slot. We bought two of these so we figure we can use one slot per shoe if we have to for the bigger pairs. I put them both together without any help from my husband. They went together very easily and they look great!

Prepac didn’t sent the hardware for the product. We hired someone to come to assemble the shelf and 30 mins in we realized there wasn’t any hardware. We had to order from Prepac and wait 4 days. When the guy came back to our house to build the shelf once we had the hardware we realized the sent us 2 of the same side panels so the shelf couldn’t be assembled. We had to call Prepac or order the correct side panel. They said it would arrive the next day. 5 days later and nothing has arrived. We’ve had the shelf for weeks now with none of the correct parts. Prepac won’t refund our money and Amazon is requesting we pay for shipping to return for a refund which is costly.

This unit was easy to assemble, one person could do it, but better with two due to the weight of the unassembled pieces. Once assembled, the weight makes it super sturdy. I'd recommend considering getting some feet of some sort to make it easier to maneuver on either carpet or hardwood floors.
