Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Picture

We have bought this album many times before. The original stereo version was great. Then we discovered that the mono version was even better.Here we are many years from the first release of Sgt. Pepper's, and, finally, the LP, as it should always have been heard! It is the ultimate compromise between the stereo version that everyone heard and mono one that everyone *should* have heard. There is an element of both stereo and mono to each and every song--- the perfect compromise.We have found this to be sonically the most appealing version of the record so far. The highs are crisp, and Paul’s bass guitar sounds superb. It’s hard to believe this is a 1967 recording.For us, this is the way Sgt. Pepper's should always have been heard. The Beatles are our favorite artist--- and this is our favorite Beatles’ album--- and, most significantly, this is the best version of that favorite.

I like buying the picture discs! I think they are a great collector item! I had some really good older ones from different singers but were destroyed when my house burned down! So I've tried to replace lost items! Anazon is a great source for purchasing rare or lost items!

"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" has not only been my favorite Beatles album but my favorite album of all time. I wanted to get the picture disc to frame and display on the wall, which is what in fact I did. Love this album!!

He was so happy I got this for him however the first one came with the corners bent. It came in a plastic bag!!We sent it back and another one arrived a couple days later that was in perfect condition (in a box).

Mine came with just one skip at With a Little Help from my Friends. But overall it's okay.
