Really good ascender. It slips badly if not set up properly (it will not work adequately if you use a right foot ascender). I had to use a left foot ascender, because of the way it pulls the rope into the chest ascender's weak spot-it slips too much. With a left foot ascender, it will slip occasionally, but works adequately enough to give it 4 stars.

While this fall arrester works in general, it also damaged my rope. The sharp metal teeth on the cam are angled down for better hold, but once they engage the rope, they also make hard to free up the rope. Once disengaged, the teeth got caught on some the strands and damaged my rope.
