I installed two of these All-Pro Outdoor lights at my sons home. The install went well on the first light but the second install was a bit tougher. I used an install method recommend by another reviewer where you install two long all thread screws to help align the base unit. The motion detection is very good and the lights are very bright. It's a big plus that you can direct the focus of the two lights individually. I would buy again and I would recommend.

A great light works as expected.

This is a great product with a needlessly difficult installation. I read all of the reviews and noted the difficulty nearly everyone had with installation, but ordered it any way. Well, the difficulty is real. It is nearly impossible to line up the mounting screws with the mounting plate that is fitted to your electrical box. I tried over the course of and hour to attach it to my soffit and after my arms were hanging limp at my sides (I'm 69 years old) from trying to work overhead, I came up with a good idea that rendered installation simple and may help others with this chore. in fact, I think the manufacturer should incorporate it into the design! The attachment bolts are 10-24 thread. What I did was to buy two 2 1/2" 10-24 bolts and cut the heads off them. I then screwed these to the attachment plate so they were protruding studs. Now it was an easy matter to thread the light onto them and secure the light with 2 10-24 nuts. A 3/8" socket is necessary to tighten the nuts. The decorative caps still fit in place. No fuss, no muss; five minutes and you are done! I would have given the light five stars if it had this easy install feature. Other than that, it is very bright and does a great job. It also looks so much better than conventional floodlights.

Great light, powerful. It is so much more attractive than the old style can lights. Can't believe how much light it gives off.

This product is a nightmare to install. The space between the mounting bracket and the light is so slim that the wire connectors will not fit. There does not seem to be any product testing done on this. You will get better elsewhere for this price.

Bought it specifically for the motion detection. It doesn't work

Functionally this is a well made product with quality materials. Nice and bright. However, there was no mention that this is intended for mounting under eaves that are finished flat horizontal. Under eavesthat slope like roof, the motion sensor points downward with the slope of the eaves limiting the sensor distance. The sensor angle is not adjustable. Shimming or remounting electrical box is necessary for proper operation. The biggest shortcoming is the design for installing light to receptacle box. Matching the two screws to holes in their mounting plate took nearly three hours and many expletives. I don't want to install another.

Love this light and the 3 light version. We changed our old bulb floodlights when we had our deck replaced because I was sick of bulbs blowing every month or 2. These provide a surprising amount of light output for such a small sized “bulb”. The “direction” changing tool is a little fiddley until you get used to it and if you will mount these up high set it before you install. Make sure you read the manual on how to set them to either always on or motion sensing only etc
