This is the cord that SHOULD be shipping with all Android phones out there. I have a Droid 2 Turbo, that will NOT charge anymore with the included turbocharger. I tried my other USB cables, a BRAND NEW Motorola turbocharger, and could only charge with the adapter "angled" to the right. Nudge the phone a little, and it would no longer charge. Frustrated, I decided to shop for a new phone, but not satisfied with any of the current offerings, I decided to try a better cable.This did the trick, no more inserting at weird angles, this cable fit perfectly.

This appears to be an update to the metal line which I loved so much, so if that is any indication I expect this cable to last quite a while as well. My one complaint is within the box there is a little pamphlet that says the armor is the 2nd best cable they make, right after the armor+. I searched a bit for this other mysterious better cable but it appears to not be out yet so it does feel a little gimmicky to launch cables back to back like that, very apple esque. If you are in a hurry, buy it, if not, wait for the armor+ I would guess

I bought several of these cables, for two different phones. Every single one has failed and I can’t get the company to honor it’s guarantee. 6 cables failed since September. This product is absolute junk. Looks and sounds good but does not function as promised.

Charger would charge phone off and on since you have to manually keep the charger tipped up so that the phone could charge. Lasted about 1.5 months from date of purchase.

This is a solid good cord. Its a fast charge cable and has worked great. The 1 thing that is keeping me from giving it a solid 5 stars is there in no intex point to say I am one side or the other on the cord for pluging it in while in the dark. Would order again if i ever need to.

I bought this SYDE cable to replace the oem cable that came with our Galaxy S7, wife kept on breaking the cables, or the cable wouldn't relay the power from the wall to charge the phone, they were breaking just behind the mini USB end of the cable t hat went into the phone, so while browsing I was looking for a beefier cable and ran across this one, so far it is working quite well.

I was having problems connecting my Android phone to my new car to take advantage of Android Auto capability. I read suggestions that I try a better USB cable and this one did the job. Has a quality feel to it. Very happy with this purchase.

These are the toughest USB cables I have seen anywhere. There are other brands that look very similar. They aren't the same. The Syde cable is thick, tough, abrasion resistant, and made to a high quality standard. It's the cable I use for the places that need the strongest possible cable.
